Thank you soooo much for all your kindness and generous words as well as for the wonderful song you created for "Something gonna happen"! The tune is very catchy and recognizable and I really like it very much in which musical direction you have taken it. Your singing is very nice as well... Thank you very, VERY much!

Anyway: thanks for adding my bass playing on your tune

Thanks for your lovely music - I'm so glad @grenzgaengerin had the inspired idea to put us together.

Dear Enge, I feel similar to my voice. This year I haven't found the courage to sing. You are brave and it worked. Sometimes we have to jump over our shadow and realize that it can be very beautiful behind it.
This year I really enjoyed our collabs and gave myself a lot of courage. In between I thought that I was too special and experimental - but I'll call it positive: I'm special and unconventional - I like that a lot. The music that sings in our hearts is not "bad"
That's why I am very grateful to you - because you helped me to accept my music making as something positive (and not just for processing). I also missed making music together very much - I thank you from the bottom of my heart for these wonderful experiences!

  • @heliosonorous 8 weeks

  • @pumpkinhead Feb 16

I figured I could try and come up with something kinda bluesy and then send it to you and maybe you can put layers or vocals or what you get a feel for. I'm open for anything! Love to do some colabs. Send me a mail and I'll get back to you. tsopuaifa@gmail.com

  • @willie70hawkins Feb 15

Thanks for listening and the feedback on The old house

  • @grenzgaengerin Feb 14

p.s. Jeg takker skjebnen for møtet vårt her

  • @grenzgaengerin Feb 14

    Oh dearest Enge,
You're just too deeply delighting my heart.
I am happy that you like our last collab "Jökulsárlón" so much. And I thank you very much for the many other comments. "Völva" is an experiment from the heart ... You are welcome to listen to "Hel" on Soundcloud. I did something similar, but with a text from me. For example, I love "Wardruna" and "Heilung" ... they always take me with them in such a special, mystical way.
Your comment on "Troll-Trap" is deep in my heart - read this by a Norwegian - it knocks me out - wow - thanks a lot.
And in any case, I really want to continue playing music with you after FAWM - definitely!

  • @pumpkinhead Feb 14

We should really do some colab this year. What'ya say?

  • @zecoop  Feb 14

Yeah I had seen that thread and thought back to one of my first collabs in 2013. It was so slow that it was honestly hard to play! I’ll check some more of yours out for sure. Perhaps I need to slow things down for a song. 😎

Takk för det du sade about my song DoReMi And sorry for my lame attempt at Norsk.I may add a verse or two as my band (who I jokingly introduced this to) loves it and wants arrange and record it.
Now, for going into the charts... PLEEEAAASE! I could do with some #1 money.

  • @persaab Feb 12

Oh just noticed that we got same intrests. Or Thåström at least. Nice to notice that here is more fans. 👍🏻

  • @persaab Feb 11

    Thank you for the comment.

  • @grenzgaengerin Feb 10

I'm curious and open to experiments and improvisation anyway 😉 Slothcore also reminds me of a kind of further development of Doom, or of Dungeon Synth - I like both genres a lot. So please - who will start? Maybe you create a sound carpet and write me an email about what Slothcore is in general so that I can get in the mood.It will be my pleasure, I'm sure of it

  • @grenzgaengerin Feb 10

    😁 Then I am reassured - PEW 😉

    edit

  • @levesinet Feb 9

A Finn, a Swede, a Norse, a Dane and an Icelander flew on an airplane. They were running out of fuel and they realized they would not make it to the nearest airfield. In order to survive you'd have to parachute out. But there were only 4 parachutes. And they were 5. Someone would be left without a parachute. There was a process and it worked. Together, they threw the Swede out without a parachute. It was called 'nordiskt samarbete'.

  • @levesinet Feb 9

Where are the Swedes here anyway?

  • @levesinet Feb 9

I agree Nyman's poem deserves a better treatment. It is touching and I am not satisfied with my audio track.
By all means go ahead. Do you want me to add you as a collaborator?
Tell me if you need me to do something, a new audio file or something like that.
(I'm not really fluent in Swedish or nynorsk or bokmål so I reply in English.)

  • @beat  Feb 9

ˋ]. Nice that you enjoyed your journey to Dagobah. Thx.

  • @hmorg  Feb 6

Thank you for the comment on "Jokivarsi"! I just added a translation of the lyrics.

  • @headfirstonly  Feb 6

I agree, it gets a bit relentless, doesn't it? I'll go back to it in the morning and substitute a simple percussion loop for some of the more shouty drums.

  • @tiller2  Feb 6

Yes, I'd love to do some guitar work, too. I have to relocate due to an urgent family matter so may be a bit scarce for a couple of days, but I'll be visiting your songlist soon.

  • @tiller2  Feb 6

Hi Tom, great to see you--and you're already being so productive. Are you interested in lyrics for any of your instrumentals?
