This is my first FAWM! After many years of taking care of work and family I'm finally getting back into writing and performing and just started doing open mics in the Boston area before the pandemic hit. I've just finished recording my first solo album with Doug Kwartler at Hollow Body Studios and am looking forward to its release a little later this year.

Check out @stephentanner. I think you will love his songs š
Congratulations on a win on your first FAWM! The first year is frequently the hardest, so the chances are high that it'll be easier if you join us again next time! š
Thank you fo listening and commenting. I appreciate it very much.
Well done on hitting the 14. All quality stuff Erin. I am a real fan of your stuff, as you probably know, and really look forward to hearing what you can do with "That Far Shore".
It's been a pleasure.
Thank you so much for the appreciation and kind comments on 'Time' š
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback on our songs. It means so much. ⤠You have been one of our favourite finds this FAWM. It is our first one too and has been such a wonderful experience.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback on my skirmish song today. I really appreciate it!
Hey Erin
So glad you were diggin' on my "froo froo country club" lyrics on Queen of Clubs. I had fun on those skirmishes. They really pop your head open! Thanks so much for your comments.
Erin, I'm so glad that you like "The Boy and The Sentinel". It's more of a stretch for me in some ways, and I'm glad that it came across well.
If you have some lyrics without tunes yet send them to me and I can maybe help you on the 14 quest?
You are very welcome. it was good fun.
Don't forget my vocals š
After FAWM is fine if you are busy
Hi Erin, thanks for listening to my song. I just had nice visit here...listened to a bunch of your songs. Really enjoyed your singing and the nice guitar (and uke) playing.
Hi there,
Thanks so much for your comment on Good evening, My Belgrade! very lovely of you! I really love your voice too!
Thank you so much, little Words was such a struggle to get down. Iām only glad that I didnāt try and record it with Dan in person as it would have been embarrassing. Remote recording has its benefits, Dan didnāt have to put up with hours of dud takes. Looking forward to coming back to this one as itās ended up a bit different than I planned.
Thanks so much, @eas3637 , for listening to The Major And The Minor. It was a challenging one, for sure.
thank you for your comment on the collab for the esperanto song!
Hi Erin. Would you be interested in a collaboration?https://fawm.org/songs/117697/
If so, please drop me an email via the envelope icon near my profile pic.
Thanks!
.
Thank you for your lovely comments on 'Safe From Harm' - we do love singing together. š
Thanks for your comments on "Father Time" and "Valedictorian!"
Thank you for the kind words on āSometimes the Songs Donāt Comeā. Definitely agree with the ELO vibe you pointed out!
Thank you!!
Thanks so much for stopping by my latest song! glad you enjoyed it. to me its a little rough around the edges so will definitely get some attention in the future!
What about āThat Far Shoreā, itās a sing about impending death so that matches our slightly grim these.
I think you might actually be able to sing it in tune! which is always a bonus. Drop me an email and I will send you the necessary stuff.
Could be right up your street I think.
Let me have a think about which one would suit your voice.
My email is daveyboy103@gmx.com. Drop me a line so i can send you the stuff.
Thanks
Definitely fun, glad you liked it.
Would you put vocals on one of mine?
Erin: Just wanted to say that being introduced to your music is the best thing for me in FAWM this year -- you're an amazing writer and singer, I'm glad we're in the same geographic area so maybe some day when we're allowed to sing near other people I'll get to cross paths with you in person.
hi my friend!! glad to see you and hear you!!! looking forward to more of your awesome songs
You're most recent comment makes my heart so happy! I'm in awe of your songwriting and musicianship so it means so much to hear that from you š
I appreciate the comment, Erin! And I hope this doesn't sound weird but is your profile picture at the Lincoln Library open mic? I've played there a few times and I think I recognize that fireplace
Thank you for taking the time to listen and leave a comment.
Looking forward to coming back to listen when there are melodies (since it sounds like they'll be coming). oh -- and it looks like we have friends in common and are in the same area, so maybe we can see each other in person someday when that's safe . . .
@aaronnathans I don't think we've met yet for reals but it's nice to meet you on this platform! I look forward to hearing your next songs!
Thanks, Erin. Please remind me if weāve met in the real world. Doug and Susan are friends.
Glad to have you here Erin!
