Historically I have not been a prolific song writer, but this year lyrics have flowed out of me. I’m using FAWM to push me to get them set to music. Thanks for listening and offering your feedback.

here's how I got some of the guitar tone:

first, this is an Epiphone SG guitar.
second, into a custom pedal my friend made me, which is basically a mash up of a Ibanez tube screamer and another gnarly distortion. I use it more like a tube screamer though, so, it's just a little distorted.

reverb was turned up on my fender amp (forget what model amp - it's a tube amp). 57 pointed directly at the speaker cone just an inch or two away.

For the mix I first eq out a lot of the low end info (I let the bass and kick drum do the low end dance). I used a LOT of compression on these tracks so that they're even and that they come forward in the mix.

You may also notice I panned both guitars hard left and hard right so that they have their own space.

I'm now gonna take this soundboard message and make it info on my track. 😀

I think you're right about that, if you have a soundcloud acc could you kindly put that comment there as well so that I have it if/when I revisit the piece later?

Hi there! Thanks so much for your nice feedback on "Living with the Enemy." I'd love for you to tweak and improve it! But it's in Logic. Does that change things? If not, what do you need from me? Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback on “Snow in July” - that goofy synth horn reminds me of Laurie Anderson’s sounds on her ‘Big Science’ record. I wanted that vibe and sort of got there by adding delay. All the sounds I’m using are cheesy in-the-box Logic Pro 9.
