Influences: Elliott Smith, REM, Bright Eyes, Ben Howard, Damien Rice, La Dispute, Tom McRae, Radiohead, Sun Kil Moon, Tallest Man On Earth, City and Colour, Jeff Buckley, Phoebe Bridgers.
This is my 9th FAWM, 8 of which I completed. Have got myself a new guitar (Cordoba electro acoustic classical) this time around although @shortdan has taken his nice mic back.
The aim this year is to not put pressure on myself and have a nice relaxing FAWM, even if it does mean taking a step back. I am however, feeling happy and positive and looking forward to a tide of inspiration coming my way.

heheheh I know, it is a bit random, the idea was to have loadssss of random movie samples over the outro , not just an isolated elephant, but it was such a hassle getting samples onto my ipad that I lost interest. I showed you roll the tape part months ago, never put it in a song before though. Horror yasssss anytime! Not tonight, cos I'm going to the cinema to celebrate my Fawm win 😁

Cheers, Paul. I'm trying my hardest to be old, will get there eventually. Don't know if the mic's anything special. It's a ~$300 Sennheiser condenser I'd never heard of, but it was going half price. Does the job!

Hey man. Thanks for the comments. Definitely agree that it could be longer, but it was a very conscious decision to keep it short, as part of the message I wanted to convey is that life's too short to spend time living how others want you to/to care about others live their own lives.
