Hi everyone - Here we are again!
This year marks my 13th anniversary with FAWM! Joining was one of the best things I've ever done for my songwriting! Will be running the usual Sunday skirmishes, and recording exclusively (with assist from an actual guitar, uke, and other musical thingamabobs) on iPhone Garageband app. The song is more important to me than a pristine arrangement (at least that's what I tell myself)

I'm finally catching up on all of the overdue thank you notes for having stopped to consider my song Sweet Louise. I take all comments to heart and truly appreciate everyone's comments. All the love.
Hi Corinne! I'm starting in on your skirmish for Sunday afternoon and I just visited your profile to find out more about you. We are kindred spirits - similar age, part of the country and musical influences! I'll listen to some of your offerings for this year. You've got me beat for how long you have been doing FAWM, by far! I run the Philadelphia Area Songwriters Alliance and we're doing everything virtually now. check us out at www.pasamusic.org.
Thank you so much for the appreciation and kind comment on 'Moo' 😀
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on our first go at a skirmish. And thank you for running it! 😀
Thank you so much for your kind comments on 'Aces', it still needs a lot of work. Thank you for your kindness. 😀
Oh Corinne, you fell for it and clicked! Anyway thank you for the listen and comment.
Thank you Corinne, well, we live in hope 😀
Hi There! Are you doing a Skirmish at 8pm GMT tonight? Mind if I do one in the afternoon? My cat Skirmish is FINALLY joining my household today and I would like to celebrate with a Skirmish 😀
Was looking for a skirmish for tomorrow and I heard you host on Sundays - Planning on hosting tomorrow as well? 😀
Corinne, thanks for the Sunday skirmish! I was surprised and delighted at how many people joined in!
Thank you for listening to my latest skirmish song. Glad you enjoyed the punny tittle 😁
And thank you for hosting the skirmish!
See You In The Shadows…
thank you for enjoying my unicorn song...and so true, sometimes it isn't!!
I wasn't necessarily writing about Dove Soap, but I can't pretend that it didn't cross my mind as I wrote the song, lol. Thanks for hosting a great skirmish!
Retired?! Why didn't I see that?? Doesn't work (pun) though Corinne, we're busier than we've ever been, just doesn't generate (much) money! 😁
Thank you for the kind words and encouragement on "Right Inside Our Door", I may have been judging that one a little too harshly. I generally do look at the ones that don't go anywhere as writing exercises.
Hahah yes I may end up doing 50/90 in Feb! Let’s see!!!
Thanks for all the comments 😀
Ha! Well that sounds kinda of messy in your streets if there’s a big snow!
Thanks for the Snow skirmish and your nice comment on my song. I'm not from Ireland, but I have been in the folk community for decades so trad is my native musical language. Looking to see how I can stretch and grow here! Thanks for pushing me!
Hi.. Thanks so much for your kind words on my Snow track..
thanks for hosting the sunday snow skirmish!! I miss NYC. I live in new mexico but write about NY alot. I wish i could visit the MET too!!
Howdy fawm friend! Glad to see you back for more. And you're on the board! 🎶
Thank you so much for taking the time and the kind comment on Sweet Louise. In real life, that couple has a simple, happy, good relationship, something rare in these complex times. There is something to be said for couples who come together when they are not kids anymore. I know a few of them and they are wonderful to be around. Congratulations on your retirement! I hope the next chapter is happy and fulfilling.
Don't take it personally 😝 It's a state of mind, not an age!
Happy FAWMing, Corinne! I’m glad you’re here. 😊
Hi Corinne, will you be running your weekly Sunday Skirmishes again this year?
