I'm a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer. I sing in a brilliant opera chorus as my primary occupation (the Arnold Schoenberg Chor at Theater an der Wien, Vienna). I am also a sci-fi music devotee, and create music and narratives that intertwine to tell interstellar stories.
This year, I plan to craft a new album called LACE, a more instrumental counterpoint to my earlier Airships album. I'll be composing a baroque-inspired suite - crossed with folk songwriting - in a unique new sci-fi steampunk project.
The songwriting will be 100% my own - and what I post on FAWM will be most if not all Clio - but I will have collaborators for this project for the tour, perhaps after FAWM - wonderful violinist dea.nice, who played on my Gravity Wing album, will be interpreting the instrumental backbone of this cycle, and visual artist Hali Rey will be creating films based on what I compose this February.
I've moved back to Austria, btw 😀 I know my country keeps changing. I'm still as Canadian as ever, don't worry - but my travels have brought a lot of musical wisdom, too.
I have a long and happy history at FAWM. In 2015, I wrote Gravity Wing. In 2016, it was the Airships EP. in 2019 I made New Canada Engines from the sounds of an airplane engine mixed with a cello, viola, and synths.

https://fawm.org/songs/98019/ wrote the lyrics anyway can't pause inspiration
Lol you’re not the only one with a ZONG. What a tough audience!!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed your listen
Thanks Clio. For sure, your ears don’t lie. Bar 6 is one bar in 4/4 time, while the rest of the time is 3/4 time. In bagpipe parlance it is called a Retreat March!
Hey welcome back you!
Hey, thanks for the comment. I'd never thought anyone would work out to my tunes but the thought makes me chuckle.
Yes! The announcer voice is mine too!
Thank you for your kind remarks on my song. Correction: it's an 8 string baritone: d and g strings are in octaves, and the b and e are chorused.
Thanks for the feedback on "Flare Me Up". Much appreciated.
Cool to hear the story behind the guitarlele. Gotta try one some day for fun. And thanks for the comment! Yea, I tried to keep the track somewhat organic.
Thank YOU!
I'm happy with "Check the Map." Glad it resonated.
Looking forward to your songs this year! 😀
