    Hey man,
    Thanks for your comments πŸ˜€

You were asking about the choir in the song "Starlight". It was done with a Mellotron (a digital simulator, of course) set to one of its Choir settings. Then I just played the same two notes in 3-4 different octaves. πŸ˜€

@circle I just remembered we were talking at the beginning of the month about a collab, let me know if you still want to do a last minute one!

Thanks for the feedback on Travel the World. I think all of my songs end up having some type of eerie vibe to them because I intentionally or unintentionally (by nature I suppose) take my tracks to weird places as I’ve always had great experiences and been to many beautiful places but they too always have their dark alleys, shady characters, cautions etc. So I suppose my music and tracks are always β€œaware” if you will. Thanks for listening. And yes. There are assassins abound too! πŸ˜‰

hey just wanted to say i REALLY appreciate your comments! you even correctly identified the city pop influence on one of my songs, i think it's so cool that someone noticed that. i'm going to listen to your songs super soon <3

  • @owl  Feb 3

Thank you for coming by to listen and comment! I will be back later to do the same!

  • @vegansongs  Feb 2

Hi Circle- thank you for listening and commenting on my skirmish tune Climb the Food Chain. Now I'm hungry.

  • @chrisshepard Feb 2

Thanks for your comment Yes, it's totally about American football. Superbowl Sunday! I'll check out your music when I get back to the computer. One question, though.. what vocal sample are you referring to? I recorded all of this from scratch today about 5 minutes after I wrote it.

  • @radioovermoscow Feb 2

Sorry, if you meant the vocoder part, it's the new Waves Ovox plugin.

  • @radioovermoscow Feb 2

Hi! Not a lot of processing on the main vocal. I'm trying a few different setups this FAWM to see what works and what doesn't.

It's an MXL V67G mic tilted a bit to avoid sibilance, Abbey Road ADT, compression - 2A emulator - and then topped off with Neutron Sculptor.

thanks for your feedback on just like you. i dont do lo fi on purpose, but all i have to work with is myself and a guitar.

  • @balancelost  Feb 2

Haha! Bobby groover. I love both the term, and your deprecation of it. If it was coined just for my song I feel honoured and I will be using it in the future.

  • @enigma4711  Jan 28

Hey, of course I'll be back this year. Not sure I'll be doing the extra challenge this year though. Let's see!

Looking forward to your songs this year!

  • @thelowestbitter  Jan 27

Hey, hope you're back this year. Let's Pretend was probably my favourite song by anyone last FAWM so NO PRESSURE πŸ˜€

  • @owl  Jan 27

Hello circle! Happy FAWM! Yeah absolutely I'd still love to do a collab, and I definitely remember you, you've had some of my favorite songs! Hit me up with ideas--my email is linked on my profile.

  • @balancelost  Jan 24

My philosophy is that it doesn't really matter whether you hit 14 or not. Even if you do say, 5 or 6 that's still something to be proud of. Good luck though!

  • @balancelost  Jan 19

Hey, hope yer in this year. I'm still enjoying your stuff from 2019
