Chasing Andromeda 5

Artist Bio

Influences:   First one I remember...Sly and the Family Stone Since then, in no particular order...David Byrne, Prokofiev, Adrian Belew, Devo, Todd Rundgren, Keith Jarrett, Carlos Santana, Bjork, Jaco Pastorius, The Clash, David Holsinger, Thelonious Monk, Ravel, George Clinton, Jean-Luc Ponty, Miles Davis, Bill Chase, Portishead, Chick Corea, Mitch Murder, Com Truise, Ulrich Schnauss, Tycho, Steve Reich Those are probably the most significant and the most obvious in my music.

Yep, I am here in 2019 and it looks like might not have to travel in February this least not as much as the last couple of years. This means being able to work in the studio instead on a desk in a hotel somewhere. Yay!

Michael Michalski, a.k.a. Chasing Andromeda here. I, I am never quite sure what is going to come out of my head. If I hear it, I write it. It usually has synths in it and it often has quite a few layers to it. But it might not have either.

Enjoy and have a great February!

Thanks Michael, glad you liked it! The volume pedal is just a cheap Donner viper mini (passive), the travel on it isn't great and it took me a while to get used to it with it being very small, but for now it does the job. I'd like to get a little alligator eventually. As for the tone, it's strange isn't it? I was only running it through a compressor, delay and verb, nothing special but yet it has this lovely tone on the lower strings..I realised only yesterday there's protective clear tape covering all the pickups, which I removed now..not sure if that was having any effect.
