Influences: Andrew Bird, Pablo Casals, my friend's parrots.
I'm a cellist from Minneapolis, MN. My pronouns are she/her. I love writing music for cello and voice. I started playing cello competitively at the age of sixteen and went on to study music in college. I love attending festivals, workshops and being around interesting people with big ideas!

Thanks for explaining your recording technique 😀
Sooooo good! Love the vocals as well as the cello heaven that you create.....Your vocal tones and phrasing are reminiscent of Norah Jones...To my ears the same sort of intimacy and texture.....Loved listening ....!
Got it and it's added to the list. It'll probably be a show or two before we play it, but it's in queue.
I really enjoyed your songs today. I couldn't stop listening! I write instrumental music and then work with collaborators for the lyrics/vocals/additional instruments, if you would even be interested. You have a wonderful voice and your lyrics were so good. Plus cello... <3
I know that writing lyrics and vocal melodies to someone else's song is not for everyone, but if you are interested, I would certainly love to try to come up with something for you to add to. My e-mail is on my profile, or let me know on FAWM.
I'm glad you found this place - it is amazing!!! 😀
Thank you so much for your comment on Hello My Friends. And I'm so glad your son liked it. I'm writing all children's music this fawm, so feel free to stop by for more. I'm always interested in feedback from actual kids.
Hi, I notice you're a cellist. How do you feel about a possible collaboration? - providing some legato cello lines/melody/improv to accompany a piano track? I have in mind something pretty minimalist.
No worries if you're not, but drop me a note on my soundboard if you are tempted at all.
I thought they sounded too real, I was going to ask what patches you used, haha!
I loved the sound you produced and I’ll go back and listen again now I know the cellos are real
Whoa hey Caitlin, nice to see someone else from the MPLS scene on here! Had a blast playing with Red Eye Ruby the other week 😀 Happy writing!

I used to have a cello. I miss it. I don't think I was any good at it but it was good to try.
Wow, I listened to one of the Soundcloud songs. Haunting. That's some cool stuff. Happy first FAWM! Good luck. 😀
Anyone familiar with Ben Solee?
I have his learning to bend album which is pretty good. Cello, vocals and good songs.
Welcome to you! We are glad that you have joined us.
Ooh sounds pretty! One of my fav musicians Monique Clare composes for cello and voice and it’s a great combo.
Cello! I can’t wait to hear what you produce. I don’t play cello but I love how warm and brooding they are. Welcome to FAWM 😀
Welcome Caitlin! Welcome to FAWM! I love the cello (my favorite instrument that I definitely can't play) and always try to add it to my studio recordings. I tuned into your soundcloud and I'm def looking forward to your songs!
