My music taste is all over the place.

After missing out last year (if you want to know why please read this
I’m hoping to get busy again this February.
Let’s see what happens

Update 26-2
Pfff, having a hard time finishing songs.
Usually I would finish one song and post it and then move on and try to finish the next.
This year I’m not focused at all and I’m tired and uninspired.
However over the past few weeks I’ve succeeded in getting a tiny bit of the spark back and I’ve been working on about 8 songs simultaneously.
I am finishing up on them as we speak and will be posting them asap in random order.

Thanks for listening and commenting on Students help - Glad you liked it.

  • @zecoop  Apr 29

What a cool process.... It certainly turned out well. 😀

  • @dzd  Apr 26

Dig your bass as well....sounds like what I imagine smoothed to sound like

  • @dzd  Apr 26

Loved it! Thumbs up! Collaborative spirit at work......good stuff

  • @dzd  Apr 26

    No, quite the opposite actually.

  • @audrey  Mar 8

Thank you for the kind words on my pieces Tailing the Suspect and Don't Get Caught. I appreciate them.

  • @cts  Mar 2 seems grief has struck quite a few of us here in the community. I saw your post, but wasn't sure how to reply. I definitely kept you in mind. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and listen to my tracks.

  • @nancyrost  Feb 29

I just did a co-write with John Crossman, if that helps ....

  • @vivalarayna Feb 27

Hey, just wanted to stop by as I've read your bio since commenting on your songs. I usually use "random song" for listening and rely on the liner notes for context. I'm glad you decided to join in the music making this year. I look forward to hearing what else you decide to share. I'm hoping to get some things posted on my page tomorrow.

  • @gm7 Feb 27

Thx for commenting on "No More"... a topic that is all too common, unfortunately.

  • @emkaydeebee  Feb 27

Thanks for your comment on ‘Sheann’s Story’ - I’m so glad the emotion carried through. It was a bizarre case of opening my mouth and recording what came out. I feel like it is definitely someone’s story, if that makes sense (I mean, yes, it’s a lot of people’s story, but I felt like this came from some one.... oh, I don’t know... makes me sound whacky to say it out loud!)

  • @oddbod  Feb 13

the guy is clearly a imbecile and so not worth trying to talk sense to

  • @alg123  Feb 12

Thanks for stopping by and listening to Lost Companion, and for the feedback. Much appreciated. I look forward to hearing something of yours if/when you get there!

  • @joefahey  Feb 11

Hey man, thanks for the good words and pointing out that it's more glam-rock, you're right, and I hadn't realized it, that's a huge compliment, I love that stuff, thank you!

  • @klaus  Feb 10

Hi Alboe. That was a kind message you left me and made me smile. I like it when people are honest but polite. I have enough comments now and I'm way behind with my replies anyway, so I'm just glad you stopped by.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife. Please, take all the time you need with your music. FAWM will still be here next year and certain things are more important than FAWM.

But you're on my Watchlist so if you post something I'll be listening and commenting. 😀

  • @emkaydeebee  Feb 9

Hey @alboe, just checking in to say, thinking of you.

  • @leah0k  Feb 5

Thank you! I love the idea of the string quartet. I actually borrowed a cello last FAWM... I just can’t really play one. If I go back and record this one, I’ll phone friend - or 4 😀

  • @jackketch Feb 4

Cheers mate for the nice comment, much appreciated!

  • @pipewrench67  Feb 4

Thanks for the comment on Mary Go Round, glad to see your hanging around.

  • @theseanovan Feb 4

Thank you for your comments on "Dog Days." For what it's worth, my guitar sound comes from Logic. I run my guitar through a Scarlett 2i4 and use the Boutique British Amp setting. It's taken a lot of experimenting, but I found something I can be happy with! Hope to hear more from you this FAWM!

  • @berni1954  Feb 4

Hi Alboe. Thanks for your interest in my song. The new way of posting at you tube has foxed me before. Why do they make things that were simple so complicated? You should be able to see my video now

  • @blakewilliams Feb 4

  • @grayland  Feb 4

  • @ampersandman  Feb 3

Thanks for the listen @alboe ! Hope you find some inspiration this February!

  • @sheamiejay  Feb 3

Thanks for the heads up. It's working now.

  • @judypie  Jan 25

Ah great that you’re going to try your hand at Fawm this year, see where it takes you if anywhere at all 😀 Feel free to hit me up if you need a sketchy female vocal or writing partner wont you! All the best in and out of FAWM 😀

  • @pearlmanhattan  Jan 24

My husband died suddenly February 18, 2009, and I found FAWM in 2016. I found skirmishes helpful in allowing space for feelings, as it was a finite space to open up the emotional parts without fear of getting lost in them. Some years, I've written 3 or 4 times the 14, and a few I haven't reached 14 at all. I'm so sorry for your loss, peace to you and much understanding.

Hi Alby. Greetings from "sunny" Helsinki, Finland to "mostly cloudy 3 celsius" Netherlands. 😀
