FAWM year 5!

Singer/Songwriter and Music Educator in Chicago. Makin secular positivity music for all your hedonistic self-love and self-care needs.

February will be a weird month this year as Abud: A Band will be in the studio all month recording our first full length album set to release in the next couple months! You can check on our progress, donate to the album and generally find some funny and lovely stuff in the links below!

I still plan to write lots of songs, and hopefully collab with as many of you as possible!

As for process, all songs are one-take sketches that I make on my phone, usually from the bathtub while being fed grapes by my harem. šŸ’–šŸ’œšŸ’™

Nicely done my friend! Congratulations on the win.
    Now..you can sleep, hahaha.

Let me know when you figure it out. It reminds me of something, too.

I think my brand may be second act realizations songs and Iā€™m not even mad šŸ˜€

Dude, I can't wait to hear you post something with the Oud, that would be epic.
    Also, I too love "Batman".
It was great finding you here, looking forward to hearing more of your tunes.
    Take care.

Thank you for your words on 'Try'. It was my first song I recorded vocals on. I am spending a lot of my FAWM trying to learn to sing.

Just saw your comment on Do Anything. Yes and no. The song did come some time after studying that progression, but the I vi ii V and I have been friends for a long time, and I wanted that kind of sound. A much more direct influence was the bVII (maj7) that I used in Easy Living. I never would have thought of that one if you hadn't just assigned it in a lesson. Still trying to find a place to use a bIVmaj7...

!!! thank you for all the feedback! Ahh! also I don't remember the lyrics of the song she was singing but the tune is a morphed version of that song in the time it took to ferment in the my mind on the train ride home. I listened to her for like 10 minutes so there were several songs in my brain box.

Who needs to put it on facebook when it's a memorable holiday? You got it right, thanks!

  • @kahlo2013  Feb 16

I would love it if you found something you are interested in!

  • @zecoop  Feb 13

I will also say that you nailed it with the lyrics, lol šŸ˜€

  • @zecoop  Feb 13

You know when someone comes and listens to your songs and you're excited except they listen to the one you don't really like? Lol.... But you did give the best description ever!
"This song has very coiffed chest hair." šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
