Influences: Prince, James Brown, The Bamboos, The Bee Gees, Lenny Kravitz, Everything But the Girl, The Police, Radiohead, Chris Lord-Algae, Ska, and a lot of FAWMers.
THE JELLY FACTORY WILL BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!
Welcome 2 the Jelly Factory! Thanks for stopping by. I hope U have a great FAWM experience.
UPDATE #1 - I have very minimum gear that I will be using this FAWM. Just an AKAI MPK mini (for virtual instruments, samples and looping), my AKAI EIE Pro interface, a Mackie 14 channel mixer and a Sennheiser MD421 mic. M-Audio 5" monitors. That's it.
I'm certainly down to collaborate with you. Here's how I play in the sandbox:
However you'd like to collaborate, let's chat about it and see if we can make it happen. Once expectations, hopes and dreams are set we shall then commence to make the jelly...cuz that's what I do here at the Jelly Factory. Why jelly? Ask other FAWMers who've been around for a while. They'll tell you... 😉

Thanks for the sweet comment on Severed. I'm down. I'll shoot you an email so we can link up.
Thx for the comments on Wondering..it was a fun collab.
Stay safe my fellow FAWMer. see u next year
Hi Craig, lovely comments to read on the final days before this year’s FAWM closes. Thanks so much for your kind words, and to hear that you’ve been inspired by or learnt from something I’ve written is a real honour. Would love to work together on something, either outside of FAWM or possible 50/90 (not sure where I’ll be over the summer yet) so will drop you an email. You’re one of the artists I’ve loved discovering this year and I already can’t wait for next Feb!
A quick thank you for the comment on Promise Rings (with Sheila Kaufman). It was very easy, it resonated from lo these 50 years ago, though I haven't sent a copy to the other party from then (yes, we still communicate occasionally. Too late for wisdom!) 5090 or next FAWM, we need to try something more together. I'm poking to get back into film/TV for a bit of coffee money (!)
Thank you Craig, it's an honour to be your friend. Wishing you good luck with everything. Hope you'll join 50/90. Take care. Please stay in touch.
Thank you so much Craig.
I'll send you the link.
Have a wonderful Spring.
Hope we collaborate again when you have the chance.
Hi Craig, oh, I had no idea. I'll download it and will post. Thank you so much. Are you happy if we have a youtube video too?
Thank you Craig.
Thank you Craig. Sorry to give you trouble.
Hi Craig, I emailed you 😀
Hi Craig, thank you for your note. I changed the title to Hopeful. Not sure whether you wanted me to change it where I posted the lyrics or in another place where we are also listed as collaborators. Please let me know if I did it correctly. Happy to change for the better 😀
Craig, thanks for the listens/comments/recommendation. It was a great fawm all around. Maybe see you in 5090...
Thanks for all your listens and great comments, Craig. I loved everything you did this year! Till next time, my friend.
Hi Craig, just saw too amazing comments from you. Thank you so much for your kind thoughts. Yes please, let's collaborate on my little star. I'm looking forward to hearing your demo. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much for the kind words on “Light Years”. Leah’s voice is amazing, so glad we got to work on something together this FAWM
Thanks for listening and commenting on my song "Blue Snow", I appreciate it!
Hiya - I don't normally do 50/90 as it's a mad time of year for me workwise, but happy to collab for FAWM 😀
Hey - thank you for your comment on PRS. So glad you enjoyed the sax solo. It went down so well I used the distorted sound several times this year!
Craig, the title is just an idea. Please see where your vision takes you and also if for any reason you don't like my piece please say so. I can come up with another one. Please also take a look at other pieces if you like where I don't have collaborators or my lyrics which are always open to tweaking. Please see what works for you. You have a great taste and I believe you'll know right away what works and what doesn't. Please feel free to email me. Thank you Craig.
Thank you Craig, added you 😀
Hi Craig, congratulations to you for not only reaching beyond but for your beautiful songs. I wasn't sure if you liked the piece I sent to you. I'm happy to create something new if it didn't Inspire you.
I just signed up for 50/90 and I’ll be here in March. I’d really like to work with you. Reach out anytime I’m active pretty much all year.
Yep, I responded. 😀
Thank you for your comments. I don't know how often I played Sting's bring on the night album. Possible influence on my playing
There’s a recommendation thread?!?! I would learn this on the last day of FAWM 🤦🏿♀️ Thank you for your kind comments and recommending ‘Oh, My Darling’!
Add it as a collab link and you've crossed the finish line. 😉
Revised version uploading... 😉
Craig! Send me something, anything, today and I guarantee to squeeze you in to the House Party!
And when I say "never"... I said that two years ago too... 😉
Maybe the next one will be different in some way, but we'll see.
Ah, thanks for checking in. I kinda went haywire and gave up on FAWM this year, but all is well otherwise. I've got a lottttt of listening to catch up on.
Thank you for listening and commenting on my songs! The "ambience" in 'Tamara' are my siblings playing upstairs that I've just come to accept it as part of my production aesthetic lol. I'm so happy to have gotten feedback on 'I've been doing real good' from a fellow Euphoria watcher, and even more happy that you feel I captured that character's essence. Thanks again!
No problem - I'm kind of all out of juice nearly anyway. Cheers
Hey matey, as much as i'd love to get Beautiful Diana done its looking unlikely by sunday eve but i will defo work with it post FAWM if thats ok with you.In the mean time if someone else wants a bash at it feel free to open it up. I can still do my own version after FAWM
Man...you want to know an inside secret on my Staubes collab? I was 99% ready to tap out of it, because I felt I couldn't write to it. I don't even remember why, but I gave it one more shot, came up with the hook first, and then felt like I'd never get through writing 16 bars x 2 for the verse, but I guess it came together. Very weird how the creator can feel one way and the audience feels completely different.
I wonder what type of track would be the best mix of the best things each of us do..not that I think we have time to do one this year, but if you music post fawm I'd be intrigued to do something.
Thank you so much for your generous comment on "Vista". You are so right about Donna's lyrics. Now I just need to figure out how to make my stuff sound half as good as yours!
Thanks for your kind comments on my ridiculous track 😁
Thank you! <3 <3
Thanks for all your comments this year. You rock! Once I get a moment I'm gonna listen to more of yours. Between my crazy job and staying on point with writing I haven't had as much time as I normally do to listen. And that's half the fun of FAWM. And yes disco is the best. Check out the Bee Gee's documentary on HBO. There's a whole section in there on the "disco sucks" movement that was quite interesting.
Friendship. Has been completed.
Craig thank you for reading thru my lyrics and commenting. I have taken a different approach this year, driven by a need to unplug from the juice I get from social network likes. And because we have a puppy I’m working hard to bond with. Most sleep I’ve had in February in 15 years! I will be back around for listening soon. Take care.
Thanks again for your kind words on Yellow ❤
To have fans is quiet new to me. I never did this kind of work before - but it is absoltuly big fun and so amazing to me 🌻
Oh yeah do post it as a lyric only to get another up cos they are brilliant lyrics and FAWM world needs to see them. WE can always change the status if i get something done
Hey matey, It is on my "To do" list. had a plan for the week but thanks to all sorts of issues, plans have gone a bit astray. I should be free from now until sunday so hopefully i'll come up with something. Feel free to offer it out. If you do that, and someone else does something, i hope you don't mind if i still have a tinker at it as i love the lyrics, it just will require something a bit different for me musically, but i love that sort of challenge. Cheers Karl
Thanks for listening, and commenting on " Everybody Talkin'." good fawm 2021
Hey thanks for posting. Sounds great. You rocked it again!
Just let you know 'From the get go' is now up in all it's rough rockiness. I spent too long on it!
Thank you for checking out High, and your very kind comments!
Thanks a lot for your feedback on SOMETHING and MOON, really appreciate that feedback. I think our collab has resulted in some magical combinations and I feel quite humbled to have had the opportunity to combine Andrea's words to my music.
Definitely!...but...I must learn the rules. I have already broken them twice. Where to I find then rules of collabs
Thanks for the comments and the listens!
Thanks for listening to and the comments for Dark Horse! Much appreciated!
Thanks for taking time to listen to “I Cant Read Your Mind”! I really appreciate the comments!
Thanks, Craig, the encouragement is needed. Not that the party is dead on this end, no! I just haven’t been posting. Finishing song lyrics is hard for me right now.
I’m getting to 14, have to. I got to 13 last year and blanked out.
Thanks a lot for your kind comment ❤ on "SOMETHING and MOON" 😊 I really love to write and I have lots of fun with collabs!
Thanks for feedback on my song!
Thanks for your kind remarks regarding Friendship. The pandemic has eliminated much of the interaction we usually have with friends and we miss this a great deal. Have had our 2nd shots so it won't be long until we can once again enjoy this aspect of our lives.
Thank you my friend for your lovely and kind words.
And...thanks for the kind words about my Kahlo2013 collab. It was fun! I think I like doing collabs!
What exactly does NSFW mean. I have not found a definition of it...yet
Just thought I’d let you know I was very pleased and flattered when you said Rust Belt Boogie had Jelly. That was awesome. Thanks! Loving your songs this year, I’ll be back to comment soon!
And thank *you*! Love getting to collab with you! 😁
Thanks so much for your comment on Good evening, My Belgrade! very lovely of you!
Got some vocals in the dropbox folder for ya!
I'm not sure what "Dangerous to work with" means. But I'm open to collaboration. And thanks for the good words
Hey Jelly! thanks for the kind words on "illusion of incompetence" - just thought you'd want to know the demo's up!
thx for the kind words re my track! having a lot of fun with my first FAWM. my goal is to get a handful more up in the next 2 weeks! see u on the inter-FAWMs! and consider yourself watched!
Thanks so much for your wonderful and that generous comments on the "Titivate"- and "Samantha"-lyrics! It would be a great honour to me if you gave to the one or the other (or even to both of them) a try... 😀
Thank you so much! I'm glad that you liked my short song.
Just wanted to thank you for listening to my music! As a practicing opossum I don't get a lot of praise! So Thank You!
The "download" setting is on.
Feel free to grab a copy! 😀
Hey man, thanx for naming me in the Recommendation Thread! 😀
I'm not sure where that Zombie Hank Williams thing came from; it just sorta appeared in my head, and Mrs. Fuzzy wondered why I suddenly started laughing to myself.
OMG hey! So good to 'see' y'all again!
Have an epic listening session planned for tomorrow to hear all your stuff! X
This is a bit late from me but thanks for the comment on Worryin' Worryin' ..,. i think he did an awesome job!
I’d be totally game to collaborate. I love the Jelly Factory!!!
I LOVE the track!!! I’ve got the week off so I’ll be focusing on collabs. Can’t wait to play with it!
Thank you for the comment, friend. Eugene Levy is so amazing in that movie, it’s one of my favorite characters of all time, haha.
Thanks for your words on our nu metal track. It was so much fun to make.
Thank you so much for the kind words on “Sweet McKensy”. Much appreciated.
much love my friend! Those SFX samples were recorded for that track on my kitchen floor!
I know I’m late on this, but thanks for your comments on “Sweet Scale Don’t Lie to Me”. I appreciate it!
Vocals are uploaded into the dropbox folder. Also I don't know how to respond to your message on dropbox, but uh YEAH I wanna hear the track! 😀
Ah, thanks for the encouragement on “Rockin’ the House.” Means a lot!
My Man! I've got some jelly grooves for you to lace! I'll send em up soon!
Ha thanks for your comment 😀 Very honoured coming from you my friend!!
Thanks for your kind words. A copy? If you mean an mp3, sure, i can email it. Is the email link on your profile the one to use? (nrgproductions@...)?
Hi Craig, it's firstname.lastname@example.org. Shoot a message when you can, i'm down for any kind of collab!
I never forgot! I spent hours on that loop but my creativity was sporadic. Let's do a song?
Hey man! Let me know if you got notified of my mention to you in my reply to your comment... really appreciate you saying something! I have to come up with another rough draft of a song, but I'll come back to your page and listen to what you have up. Thanks!
(as I continue to lurk on here and not go to bed)
Its only 10:30pm where I am right now, so when I say "go to bed" i really mean raid the fridge real quick and watch youtube until I fall asleep! lol
Thanks again for your words, man.
YOU are an absolute beast with all aspects of music.
I look forward to what you and your cuz come up with. And hopefully I can get it together so I can join in and have some fun with a whole lotta jelly on some tracks!
Sorry dude, I in no way mean to keep any secrets!
There's just so much going on that I forget to answer questions or address things people say in their comments.
So the synthvox I use is called AlterEgo and its by a company named Plogue. Its free, too!
And then I get the majority of my samples from Splice. But last month, I signed up for a subscription for Output's Arcade - which is also a sampler with different packs and stuff. Its quite cool. You can manipulate the pre-loaded samples (and they have kinds from vocals, guitars, drum groove, blahblahblah - but I only mess with dem' vocals) right in the program just by hitting one of the black keys on your midi controller or whatever.
But yeah man, I'm an open book...I got no secrets. Plus, I ain't doing anything crazy or out of the ordinary.
And also thanks for always swinging by and leaving comments that make me puff my chest out a bit! Its been a struggle this FAWM (as I just explained to your cuz, who wanted to collab...sadly I had to turn him down but only for right now)...have been feeling just kinda stressed about FAWM...which never happened before. SOOO many songs to listen to, and I'm getting so many comments from people that I need to go and reciprocate on their stuff. Then forum challenges that I want to get into. And THEN there's this Facebook music group I'm in where a big challenge just came up and its due in 2 weeks! (i'm gonna pass you that link, cause I think you'd have a blast there!)
So yeah man...burnt out before I even got going.
Phew that's a lot of typing.
Time for bed now lol
Hi! Thanks for commenting on "On The Phone". Good to know I'm not the only one to notice the obsession or fixation these days. Thanks for the congrats on the finish. I'm guessing you mean crossing the finish line, but na I'm not done yet. Love the camaraderie and support from this site! Very motivational.
Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.
