But lyrics and song content belong to the fawmers who wrote them!
Part of the "1984" project. More info to come.
*NOTE* As of the end of FAWM, this is not a done track. Not at all. It will be.
To be determined.
The drum sound and sequencing sounds kind of industrial 90s, and with that theremin(?) sounding synth over it, it gives off a kind of creepy vibe. I can picture this to some distopian sci-fi for sure.
I personally think this works perfectly without lyrics!
It’s got a great vibe throughout, sort of a cross between Vangelis, Boards of Canada, and Brian Eno.
Oh very nice, I can feel it drawing me in already..... I'd love to hear some lyrics or vocals .... and I'd love to know how you did it... where do you get all the sounds???
You've set the mood, for sure. Almost spooky, but also very pretty. I like how you've layered this with nearly clashing tones and melodies, but the work perfectly. Well done!
Goosebumps right out of the gate. I actually love the minimal nature of this track. It works really well, leaving room for everything to breathe.
Digging this vibe on headphones... the melodies weave well around the rhythm instrumentation. The arrival of the high hats around 1:39 works very well, and the descending lead at the ending was a bonus.. I was thinking it was going to fade on the high note, so the extra length was a treat. Good textures here!
