Liner Notes:

this song just came out of nowhere, and i love it! completely out of style for me.

the lead guitar might be out of tune, and is definitely scrappy-as-hell. i kind of like it like that.

any thoughts on the recording very welcome. plus the song, of course.

Lyrics:

Play tender and rough with my hair and i will always love you
Cos i’m a body, i’m nine tenths a body, i will nine-tenths love you
i want to consume you, i want you to last forever

You used to think i was a prophet
I never saw this coming
I never thought you were a lover
I never saw this coming
Call it an accident
I’ve never meant it more
And it’s coming

I switched off all the heating ,we can light ourselves a fire
I told everyone that you’ve gone away guess that makes me a liar
i want to consume you, i want you to last forever

Well, the recording is quite lo-fi. The vocals are distorted, most of the guitar's idiosyncrasies aren't heard because of the recording, and to be honest, I'm not sure why you want comments on the recording - It sounds like you're limited by your equipment.

Jumped out of the jukebox for me.
    Love it, great job.

So much energy in this, without just being totally loud. So cool!

I wish I had a cool accent. Selective harmonies and shredding guitar solo... love it!

i really like this, the guitar is definitely perfect for it aswell. Loved the lyrics, and i second Rick's sentiments toward the outro.

Love it! Loads of fun and energy. Good to see a different side to your songwriting.

Woah. This is probably my favorite of your songs thus far. Maybe I read into them wrong, but the lyrics, particularly in the last verse, are very dark... I really love the repeated last line.

As far as the recording goes, I think it's just fine. Guitar sounds good, vocals are great, and that outro bit is nuts. And I mean that in the best way possible.

the raw enthusiasm really comes across on this. i like it. you've got an edgy timbre to your voice when you go for the higher notes.

Good song! That janglyish guitar is fun, great melody, too.
