But lyrics and song content belong to the fawmers who wrote them!
Another FB friend suggestion for a song.
Monkeys who like cheese.
I sightly misremembered when I recorded
Monkeys covered in cheese.
Good title, it rhymes, very memorable. Nice guitar riff. Heh. Could have been just a little bit longer, but on the other hand where can you go from monkeys covered in cheese?
Well, now this makes me feel a lot better, because my Donkeypants song can have a friend to go visit the swingset and tilt-a-whirl at the amusement park.
This is the exact kind of ridiculousness that I needed today.
This was fun.
Very very catchy.
I'm gonna learn that bassline.
That is mighty active bass line for such a short tune!
wahaha that cracked me up immediately
This made me giggle luxuriously. Thank you.
Never change, Helen. This is awesome fun.
...it's highly addictive and it'd make a great ringtone, or office answerphone message.
This is an advert for a fantastic product! And it's brill!
Ooo. Are they real monkeys or vegetarian snack equivalent? Asking for a friend... 😉
Dammit, I'm hungry now and I'm fresh out of monkeys.
...ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...
...this is glorious
....ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...
This tickles me so much. I can't figure out why, but I love it.
Love the backing track
The rhythm in your adjustments is undeniably an improvement - following the trochee with a dactyl followed by the climax of CHEESE is a stronger choice than making cheese into the final syllable of an anapestic foot. The juxtaposition of the two concrete images is very powerful and the questioning intonation of the final line leaves the listener hungry for more, if you'll pardon the pun, fneh fneh fneh
Well, that was oddly entertaining at 2:30 AM! A song that is sure to spark parodies. I just wrote one
Puppies covered in peas
Puppies who like peas.
May need more worsmithing - I dunno.....and then you could mix - monkey and peas as well as puppies and cheese. Endless possibilities... crazy...🙃
Nice. I think your lyrics were an improvement on the original suggestion. Two questions:
1) Were these monkeys baked or fried?
2) When do we get to hear the other nine songlets in the 10x10? 😉
