Dusted off the old (and I mean old - 1920s) Regal tenor guitar. It's a cute little thing though the tuning slips due to the peg tuners.
I guess this has a similar lyrical theme to my first song. I'll try to get out of this rut with the next one, but don't hold your breath.
Extra twiddly bits provided by harmonica, Roland JD990, VB3 organ (vsti) and some oboe-like thing from Kontakt
You know my heart for what it is
Just a muscle old and tired
You can add it to the list
Of worn out things that you've acquired
How I wish that I meant more to you
More than I can expect
You have my love for what it's worth
Hardly a ransom for a king
It's not the fortune you deserve
Just my meagre offering
Oh if only I deserved all of you
But I'll take what I can get
