But lyrics and song content belong to the fawmers who wrote them!
lo-fi mumble-folk short two-chord-song
there's a bat in the kitchen
there's a cat in the attic
the radio downstairs
plays nothing but static
there's a crack in the panel
there's a crack in the wall
don't touch the light switch
at the end of the hall
you'll be shocked
I like the ambiguity in the lyrics at the end there, will I get shocked by dodgy wiring or did somebody curl out an arse-baby on the floor?
They do create an atmosphere. I particularly like the radio playing nothing but static line.
You tags lured me in since I'm a huge mumbled-vocals fan. I'm glad they did since I liked this! I just wish it were longer; there's a cool thing going on in the song at the moment, the lyrics and the vocal melody create a very vivid picture and they create tension, that's not quite released in the "you'll get shot" part. I'd love to hear this in a more familiar 3 minute pop-form 😁 The strummed guitar sounds really cool, what chord is it?
Lyrics are great as usual. They convey certainly something that the listener would like to find out.... What is this about?
Good advice. Great vocal delivery here. I love the sound of that lyric. Any deep mystery there?
