I wrote this for a skirmish, got it almost done, and then didn't post it. Literally all I had to do was record the English language lines and decide what order everything should go in. Although I may decide to add to it later.
The skirmish prompt: Snow moon is apparently the combination of Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse, and Comet in 1 night.
My first thought was the Japanese legend of Princess Kaguya. Well, actually it was the Sailor Moon movie with Princess Snow Kaguya.
I have never written a song in a language I don't actually speak before. Credit for Japanese lyrics and melody go to Google Translate. I think there's an extra syllable in there, but that was how the pronunciation guide read it, so I went with that.
The comet is called 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova, hence my "Honda comet".
