Paul, I miss you so much!
I"m here from the "most proud of" forum post - this is simple, elegant, and beautiful. The overall arc it just perfect, and great variation while keeping to the theme!
Wow, really love this one. . Such an amazing tribute. Awesome job m8.
So great, you definitely should get a dance tripe to choreograph to this, it's perfect.
I am here for the Forum...thanks for you post and visit all the others if you can...
So very heartfelt... sad but not sad...joyous and celebratory.
Isn't this simply fabulous...I imagine a dance troupe performing to this ...
I didn't know Hoops, but the tributes he is getting from all his fans/loved ones is stellar...Gosh he must have been quite a human being...and now, you all can carry on for him in his memory, here in Fawm and in every work you create from now on...
I would love to hear a album just riffing off that piece...
thank you for sharing and it has been an absolute pleasure hanging out with you this Fawm...xxc
Keep coming back to this again and again
This is really lovely! I can see why it is one of your favorites. What a great tribute.
Crap, this choked me up a little bit with that jaunty first bit and I blame (and thank) you and hoops for that. Just lovely and not what I've heard from you before, and all the more lovely for the style. Thanks again.
Very beautiful. Reminds me of something from a studio Ghibli movie almost.
And another nice goodby song
Oh, gosh, this is so evocative of Hoops. And such a beautiful piece.
I didn't really know Hoops - though I do remember listening to and enjoying his music. This goes through a couple kinds of moods but it's still playful and curious all over IMO. Especially the oboe (I think it's an oboe... I always get my woodwinds confused)
A very emotive piece, from happy to solemn to regal and more... Way to cover a lot of territory in a short amount of time. Impressive!
This is so beautiful Paul, so playful, and yet thoughtful at the same time. It really does sound like a bird playing, flying, hopping around and such things as patchwork birds do 😀
So much love.
It's very Hoopic! If you haven't heard his symphonic work you've certainly channeled it.
If you'd ever like to get together and share memories of Paul, we'll find a way.
Quite a magical piece. Beautiful, playful and expansive all at the same time. A very nice theme, and a gorgeous song. RIP Hoops. 😀
This is a beautiful piece - broad, expansive and deep.Takes me to another place.
