The tones and strings of this give me chills up my spine. I love the dark combination of tones and strings. The vocals are reminiscent of the lovely Ian from Joy Division. I am seriously digging this, and would love to remix it.

    Good work

There seems to be an influx of ambient keyboard & synth artists this year... or maybe this is just the first year I've noticed it? Either way, I love the lush production of this!

Gospel synth. Haha. I like your style.

Very lush. I love how the dissonant elements peek in and out throughout. It re-engages the listener after they have fallen into too comfortable a place, causing them to renew their listening. So nice to hear something like this around these parts. Nicely painted.

Great atmospheric work Randy, this is the sort of stuff that got me hooked on your music back in 2007! I love the way you use your voice as an instrument.

I wish more FAWMers focused on instrumentals.

like the lush forest floor all dew and moist... very cool atmosphere

This is lovely. I think you are painting pictures with music; that's what happening in my mind when I listen to this, anyway.

Nice swirling, swooning ambient piece. It seems to be defined not by borders between things but because of the lack thereof.

Oh it's the same sound as when I discovered you two years ago! I'm immediately carried away each time I hear it, and this voice coming from afar, like out of a dream or a vivid souvenir... zghjkkkg dfjkghjkdg wjkjkwggjkgdswghd dfddfjdgjkfwgjk sdf!!!

Peaceful and comforting in spite of the dissonance that flows in the piece.

Very cool. Has a strongly cinematic quality to me (albeit for a pretty darn weird movie).

Experimental gospel synth. Awesome! E.F. you have a style that I have always admired. I sense a mello spirtualized. I like the ambient sound choices on this. Additionally the vocal sitting in the back gives it a haunting sense. something not as easy going as the keys. yourut of the starting blocks. that means I need to get something up as well. nice start D!

I dunno @tim, I kind of liked the bass and strings at the beginning...but I'm a sucker for bass...I enjoyed it...good show...

There is rather a lot going on. I like the harmony and the suggested melody, the phasery floating over the top is a good idea. But I find the combination of the vibrato or hero strings with a hefty bass a bit muddy. Can you remix, with perhaps a little less full string pad? THe voice works well.

    Beautiful.

Such a full sound. So much going on, it seems… I need to listen to this some more…

when this started up it gave me a happy, tingly leonard cohen feeling.

that sweep of the phaser or something hovering on top is cool

it sounds like the organ gets detuned a bit in the middle (like at 2:13?) . . .on purpose? i loved it. if not on purpose, then a happy accident, in my mind.
