But lyrics and song content belong to the fawmers who wrote them!
Looked at title, blank brain. Ate breakfast, this came to me as I was doing so.
Rise or fall
Your voice so gentle running through the scale
An accidental thrown in makes it all more interesting.
That accidental really does make it all the more interesting! I think you sing a bit lower than me though. Maybe we're not twins? You're probably tired of that joke, since you must've come across another Helen here. (This is my first FAWM, and you're the only other Helen I've seen here....) Very well done, Helen! 😄
Cool experiment. I really like hearing you use the low end of your vocal range like that. And yes on the accidental and the meta!
Cool tune. The clapping sets a great base for the voices. The harmonies mixed with a little discord does indeed make it more interesting. Like a gospel song for the church of music!
A wonderful track. I really just got lost in the beat. You do a great job of filling the track with just vocals and percussion.
Great, i love acapella and the way the voice can interact with layers of itself, and the accidentals just jolt to make you listen more intently, love it well done.
This was a skirmish, that included time to eat breakfast? Insane. This builds really nicely and you're right, the accidental does make it more interesting! Enjoyed the claps too. Well done 😀
What a unique take on the skirmish. Love the vocal explorations combined with the percussion. Lovely layering too. Very unique! Thanks! BTW, thank you for your feedback on my version of 'Rise or Fall'. 😀
Oh cool. Avant garde. I like the a capella delivery and awesome harmony.
I adore the percussion.
You've always been good at layered a capella stuff.
Made me laugh, too!
Ohhh those clappy percussion noises are awesome!
A choir of Helens! You sound great. Why didn't they do this is the Sound of Music? How did they learn about accidentals?
I love the literal vocal interpretation of the the title! The lyrics and harmonies are superb. I am impressed with your creative genius and talent.
Due to my slow Indian Wifi i had this in stages. i love the gradual layering and it has inspired me. I must attempt and accapella one whilst on the road, although matching this is going to be hard
Very clever...sounds like an old spiritual
Oh that accidental is so mental..
Love your own choir group
Awesome layers of harmony and percussion!
it's a song tapestry. i am really into this. it's the perfect accompaniment for a cold morning and a cup of coffee. listening again because it's so cool.
Oh, what a wonderful interpretation of the skirmish prompt! And you're right - the accidental does make it more interesting. 😀 Beautiful harmonies. Congrats on a great skirmish!
Clever! Especially the "interesting" chromaticism. It's intriguing how desperately blank brains suddenly churn out flower pots during FAWM. Mind you, it helps that you have a Voice! [/envy]
