This was Stefan's and my first 2010 FAWM song.

Freshly back from a mind-blowing trip to Nashville where I did in fact melt faces with an untoppable karaoke performance, we put this together Sunday night hoping to upload to FAWM as soon as it opened at midnight.

Only, it didn't open at midnight. So we had to wait till business hours.

Frivolous catchy pop.

This is catchy. After the liner notes, I thought it might say, "with a melted face like yours..."

Great lyrics in the verses and the first half of the chorus. I really like "hackneyed covers" for example. Ha ha, awesome. I think the second half of the chorus isn't as strong, like achin' and love makin' seem like they might be there to rhyme with the first two. Just a thought.

It's a really listenable, ear-friendly tune!

Hello Cactus Joe! I kept meaning to get over I remember really enjoying what you did at the 50/90 over party. Stupid rain. This is great! I could totally see electric guitar and heavy drums coming in the prechorus, rockin' hard! Very cool, very catchy.

Great vocal harmonies on the chorus, I love the lyrics.

The image of you "rocking the mic on the seeker" before stage diving is brilliant.

you've really got a way with melody... so much so that i can't decide whether the verses or choruses have the stronger melody. this has the sound of an instant classic, hope to hear a full band version someday.

Oh man, I can hear this one on a big open air festival with the crowd going mad.
If/when you get the chance to record this with the whole electric shebang I would keep the first part acoustic till I'M INTROVERTED. But hey, who needs my advice anyway.

Fun little song with sort of a Cheap Trick/power pop vibe. Looking forward to hearing the full version. Might be interesting to turn the 3rd verse into a bridge going into the prechorus - yes, kind of standard, but it would mix it up a little bit in this case.
