Song to a Llama

silly novelty non-sequitur

Liner Notes:

This song came from a non-sequitur that a Facebook friend of mine posted on her status update. I have no idea what it means.

EDIT 2-21: Demo up! Okay, this one ended up prettier than a silly song should be I should think. But it is what it is. I used the bouzouki for this and the nylon string guitar is midi'd with a controller. I added real conga.

Lyrics:

I sang to a llama
While sliding down a hill
Too much information
Hiding hundred dollar bills

E-mailing alpacas
Something you oughta see
Sent me the attachment
From the a Adriatic Sea

Acting a bit like non-nonchalant
I am sexy and can do what I want

Carry on with that camel
Oasis late at night
The lady at the counter
Trying hard to be polite

I sang to a llama
While sliding down a pole
Giving him the business
About to lose control

Blushing like a debutante
I am sexy and can do what I want

Looking just a little gaunt
But, I am sexy and can do what I want

Is it weird if I say I got a kind of John Denver feel to the music? I might even be getting my musicians mixed up. But I am too fond of llamas. Nice word usage with 'debutante'.

Some meanings are well hidden when you're in other places in the mind...or just trying to be funny and throw people off with non-sequiturs such as this.
