Liner Notes:

I guess it's a song about my on-again, off-again relationship with the web.

Lyrics:

Oh, look at me, look at me
Look at me, what I did so famously
I'm stuck on the airwaves of channel 19
I can't be on YouTube
It's too mod for me
So goodnight to the Boingers
And Maker-Fair scene
To Gawker and Viceland
And A Special Thing
Oh, you handled me for the first time.
Oh, I'm nuts about you... but we're through.
Oh, let me be, let me be
I just need my space and some privacy
I'm feeling my age but no need to breed
I'm stuck on the airwaves of channel 19.

What a great slow, slow beat. Love the lyrics and music. Outstanding! "I can't be on YouTube/It's too mod for me" slays.

"I'm nuts about you, but we're through" - excellent line! This track has a great mood to it. Shades of Genesis and Bowie in this one, or is it just me? That's a compliment, anyway, about the consistency and content found here. Well done!

Very soothing sound, nice relaxed vocal delivery. Creates a peaceful mood although the lyrics suggest a bit more inner turmoil. Overall, very cool.

Just hearing the first minute or so thus far on Charlie's radio show, and WOW! Hooked by the sound and laid back melody. Great production choices. Welcome to my watchlist.

"Oh, I'm nuts about you... but we're through" love that line. Shoegaze, now there's a genre I have yet to see on FAWM. Hope to see some more! Great track.

This is really cool. When I first started listening I was about to dismiss it as just a genre I don't really like and that I wouldn't be able to competently comment on but I couldn't bring myself to advance the player. I got pulled in quickly and the music started to grow on me. I took a look at the lyrics and now in the two and a half hours I've been at work listening to the FAWM player I've found myself coming back to listen to this song more deeply.

Good job. I really, really like this song.

And I agree with benn... i think it has a Beck-ish (perhaps Radiohead as well) quality to it.

This is the best song I've heard on FAWM yet. It's a bit Beck-ish too, which is always nice.
