Two Strangers

Lyrics:

I was walking down the road and saw a stranger
Who was walking the other way
We sat down together at the side of the road
Broke out our guitars and started to play

(Chorus)
Just a couple old friends who'd never me
Taking time to commune one sunny day
On our journeys to explore the best of life
And communicate with music along the way

He led us in songs by Dylan and Cash
I did tunes by Nelson and Prine
We sat that way for several hours
Singing and having a good time

Chorus

We played until we ran out of songs
Then smiled and put our guitars away
As we parted some lyrics came to mind
But those would have to wait some other day

Chorus

This song has a very Tom T. Hall feel to me. Great country song! I really like how you use your voice on this one too. The song has an intimate feel that you don't usually get from non-depressing songs..I can't quite express what I'm trying to say other than I really like it!

Good solid country/folk. I'm amazed at how you're turning these out but still holding quality, Billy!
