Liner Notes:

First completed song for FAWM 2010. I have some other songs started but I decided I needed to write something happy tonight so this is what I wrote.

I have some lyrics for this, but they're admittedly cheesy house lyrics. Not bad for cheesy house lyrics, but that's what they are wink Hopefully someone will get bored enough to do a crucio or something to add some good vocals, and hopefully some decent lyrics, but for now, this is it.

    Wow! This is awesome!

  • This is good. I wanna hear distorted conversations happening in the background - soft enough that you can't make out most of the words and that they stay out of the way of the music, but in there somewhere. But yeah - this is good.

Ebbs and flows like the waves. Very trancy. Like the light, happy feel to it.

    Crucio! http://fawm.org/songs/3144/

I really like the pulsing quality. Sounds like waves on a shore to me. Or like descending waves of sleepiness.

I'd like to crucio this. If I did the lyrics, though, they wouldn't be cheesy house so much as quirky, maybe even novelty. If you're okay with that.

    Cute, Chirpy, Summery, Laid back.
Those words come to mind as I listen to this piece.

    Great stuff.

From the very first chord, you hit me where it hurts the sweetest. (Closet raver since 1992, just so you know.) Oooohhh, I'm in love with this! For once in an instrumental, the title fits perfectly. Beyond that, I noticed something of a trancy air to the ambient synth.

I can hear myself singing to this. If you want, I can rework your lyrics into something a lot less cheesy, something that will do justice to this sweet, sweet tune.
  • This intensely calming, good healing music. I'm taking notes!

    Nice song with nice sounds!
I can definitely see this in a movie/TV-show, maybe in an underground club/disco of some sort!

    It works without vocals wink
The sounds are rich, and as usual you have a nice build up to keep the ear busy. Nice textures to paint sonic flowers.

Loop, nice one out of the gate. It is a pretty classic house track with the exception of that snare...and I like the snare...has a great rattle to it.

I got up to make some oatmeal with this song on, and it made me stare at my shoes and dance for a good two minutes. Cheers!

Hey Loop! I'm ere cos of you abes.com post, nice debut man! Those drums could do woth coming up against those synths, the kick and snare don't punch enough for my liking, but lvoe the ambient vibe of the whole thing! smile

Man, your pads are so full, of course I need to ask what synths are you using on this one. Great textures throughout. This is a good driving-through-the-coastline song... Nice.
  • Radical Snake 1 month ago
What an awesome pad line going on. It's super wide and with tons of texture. Love how you build upon it with the fluttering-like synth that just adds to the air-like quality of the song. The change ups half way through are just enough to keep the song from getting repetitive without being distracting or mood altering. Great way to get things rolling
