onenote orchestral meditative soundtrack

Liner Notes:

This was inspired by @andygetch's "one note" challenge:
http://fawm.org/forums/thread/3088/

I interpreted that literally - nothing here but C, although I discovered there's really no such thing as one note. Even with a single instrument I couldn't produce just one note without filling the air with a rich, vibrant spectrum of overtones.

I told my 11-year old daughter that I was writing a song with just one note, and she that sounded boring. I told her she wasn't using her imagination.

Having participated in the one chord challenge (most of which were fairly Zen), I'm impressed by this one note composition (which is quite foreboding). The banjo coming in was a great introduction to the journey I was in for. The rhythm you start building/finding halfway through keeps it moving forward nicely.

Is it still one note if some of the tones in the song are flat? :-0 Cool concept; good job.

Interesting exercise..it really stretches your skill set to try something like this...well done!

you know, maybe your daughter has a point wink
The interest here is the slow build up of tension as the various elements come in, although the ending is rather too abrupt.
