amusement park ride slide water alternative rock
Homo-sapiens are roughly 60% water, according to my memory... which may or may not be a complete idiot. Regardless, here's a song about the idea of the human body being a giant theme park for tinier organisms.
They told us we’re basically water
Floating round in some soft fleshy junk
So I hope that the microbes that slide down
My veins brought trunks
Though they didn’t pay admission to get there
My stomach’s a wave pool for free
As they swim in my personal ocean
They can’t tell it’s me
I’m the ruler of the sea
Poseidon in reality
Dive in the lake I spawned
There’s summer beneath me eternally
Dry, but inside’s a pond
If god was a lifeguard, it’d be me
A river in this skin
Gallons flow through the shell of your body
In all of us, we have a deed
I’m the manager and CEO of
The waterpark inside me
Feel the grains of the sand in your fingers
Though statistics say it’s mostly puke
At a beach that is oddly located
Inside of any dude
The chlorine’s in my kidneys
It keeps the water clear and clean
Dive in the lake I spawned
There’s summer beneath me eternally
Dry, but inside’s a pond
If god was a lifeguard, it’d be me
A river in this skin
