traditional celtic acoustic-folk-punk cover
I know this song will be controversial, but I'm prepared for that. There are inevitable questions about whether cover tunes are appropriate for FAWM, and whether a traditional song with no known writer is a cover tune. There's also the question of whether killing the old red rooster is unethical, and whether cat-calling the girl in pink in pajamas is demeaning.
I've considered all these question myself, and have decided to post this tune as is, in hopes of raising awareness and stimulating discussion of these important issues. I apologize to anyone I may have offended.
She'll be comin round the mountain when she comes
She'll be comin round the mountain when she comes
She'll be comin round the mountain
Comin round the mountain
Comin round the mountain when she comes
She'll be drivin' six white horses when she comes...
Oh we'll all go out to meet her when she comes...
We will kill the old red rooster when she comes...
We will all drink lots of whiskey when she comes...
She'll be wearing pink pajamas when she comes...
She will have to sleep with Grandma when she comes...
Oh ye cannae shove yer granny off a bus
No ye cannae shove yer granny off a bus
No ye cannae shove yer granny
Cause she's yer mammy's mammy
Ye cannae shove yer granny off a bus!
