Liner Notes:

I would love to have had time to do a demo on this, because I could have just used the rhythm on my keyboard, but not enough time. If you keep the rhythm strong and consider that the wrods in parenthesis are whispered echos, you might get a sense of this.

Lyrics:

He was born with deep November’s gifts
When he walks in the room my interest shifts
He’s got it all if you catch my drift
The Archer (archer … archer … archer)

He’s tall, he’s strong he’s smart, he’s wise
You’re struck before you realize
He’s watching you with steady eyes
The Archer (archer … archer … archer)

Well, he’s ruled by Jupiter, linked to fire
Admire, inquire, let love transpire
He’ll build then quench your deep desires
The Archer (archer … archer … archer)

He’s a man of true spontaneous expression
He lives with passion but never aggression
His lovers fear no indiscretion
The Archer (archer … archer … archer)

He likes evolution and exploration
The many cultures of many nations
To be a Renaissance Man is his vocation
The Archer (archer … archer … archer)

He’s as right as rain, he’s as fine as wine
He’s good for my spirit, he’s great for my mind
And I’m glad to say that he’s a friend of mine
He’s The Archer.

Must be a Sagitarius you're talking about. They are kind of studly. I once heard a great song about the Leo man. One day, maybe all the signs of the zodiac will have man songs. Great job. Would like to hear it sometime.

    Well written
Yeah, there seems to be a natural rhythm to it
I hadn't thought about the zodiac as a song source but it should be prolific. I'll have to look int that

I truly like this lyric. The very first line is great and you've done a great job with a repeating rhyme scheme that I'd have ubertrouble with. Definitely well done.

I read it once, then looked back at your notes. Read it again with a rhythm and it just jumped off the page. Good job, I doubt I could ever write that many verses in one hour.

    Aww, thank you! wink

Cool lyrics, and amenable to a great many musical approaches, I think. Nice!

Dig the lyrics; I just listened to TC's tune, and I can sort of feel your lyrics dropping on top of his guitar line. Really nice wordplay in here, and some great rhymes.
