Back in 2010 I did a gig at a funeral on an invite from my friend who was doing the ceremony. It was the most unconventional funeral I've ever been to. My friend did a very cool thing and instead of having a very formal funeral he opened the floor to have everyone share stories about this guy.

As I sat there and listened to the stories I really came to like this guy! He was an amazing fella! So I got inspired to write a song for he and his family in honor of him... and this is it.
