The Line of Best Fit (*24759)

Liner Notes:

Quickly and aggressively written.

Lyrics:

It’s harder than a coffin nail,
the thing you think but never do.
Back to square one again,
using your mind as a sad excuse.

Rolling back to bed again,
trapped in the words you use.
Now it’s meant something to you
and you’re flinching at the thought of a bruise.

You better hold it down,
maybe if you beat on it enough someone will tell you where it came from.
You better hold your ground,
cuz the truth keeps a coming and your looking for the line of best fit.

And you don’t even try to cover.
You go and even try to smother it in the faces of anyone who,
cares to even look at it.
I don’t like the looks of this.
Excuse me, I don't mean to be rude but,

You better hold it down,
maybe if you beat on it enough someone will tell you where it came from.
You better hold your ground,
cuz the truth keeps a coming and your looking for the line of best fit. (x2)

Great song ... it's crying out for a band. It would really kick ass. Your voice is great too, although doesn't really come across in this recording. Cool!
