Passion and the Price
by
Vicarious C

some just wanna watch the world burn
i guess that's not so bad
wildfires are evanescent
next to the grind a century has
some just wanna pull off the bandage slow
savor every inch of pain
turn their lives into a tragedy
a play of guilt and shame

but i
dont care
how you want to live
your life
it all comes down to the passion and the price

some just wanna live in drunken revelry
wash away their memory
some just wanna live in fantasy
waste away behind the screen
some only wanna lose themselves
in the rapture of a lover's embrace
try to fill up their empty shells
and feel like they found a place

but i
dont care
how you want to live
your life
it all comes down to the passion and the price

i am all of you all at once
every single day a different one
everybody pays to make a dream come true
so i hope the price is worth it to you

Great acoustic punk feel to this song. Bridge near end has great emotion tied up in it. Lyrically, you are very clear. Nice!

smile Some really great rhythms in there, especially vocally. I particularly liked your very subtle humming in the break/bridge (?) early on!

Another rocker! We should do an acoustic show together sometime.

Great hook! It was the title that first caught my eye, it's an awesome idea. You could totally rock it up with a bunch of electric guitars and heavy percussion, but there's something quite passionate about the quiet guitar here too.
