electronic ambient electric-guitar experimental fawmtronica

Liner Notes:

Here begins my foray into experimental, minimal electronica.

I kind of planned something a bit lighter (happier mood), but it just seemed to want to go this way...I think that internal struggle shows in the track, ie there's little moments of something lighter wanting to show. Well, it made coming up with the title really easy!

Really happy how this turned out. Will be a fun track to polish in the future.

Title spelling fixed! oops. Thanks Scott!

Brilliant soundscape. Could be ranked among bands like Hammock!

    Oh. Wow! 8-O

This is just fantastic. The soundscape goes for miles into the distance. The mix and production are superb and the composition is spellbinding!

Cool, heard this one second. Started with a vibe, kept the vibe going....good stuff. Crisp and clean production, always nice to hear. Slightly new agey, but not too much. I would def. listen to an album like this.

I think I might be getting back into minimal again now that I've heard this. Now I want a massage to go with the stress reliever here. Well done and excellent production.

Following you again! You're definitely one of my favorite fawm-er's, and this song confirms that. I think it's on the lighter side, in terms of mood, but it's got a sort of 'nighttime' feel. I dig it!

aah you're music fills my soul with calm.. I like where I go when I listen to your tracks; its a nice and relaxing place where I don't have to think about meetings and management and daily stress... thanks!

Don't fight it, feel it. Great shadowy vibe, I see light cast from streetlamps and feel the rain. Sometimes the space between speaks louder than the sound. This really raises the bar, man. And so early in the going!

Fantastic. This is a sound I chased for years, but could never quite get. I'm floored! Great work!

@chasingandromeda Thanks! Yeah just a sampled guitar through a clean amp sim and delay/reverb I really like how it sounds and will probably use it for more tracks during FAWM.

Lovely. Is the guitar sampled? It sounds wonderful and the effects on it really let it shine. Nice cast of supporting sounds. Ace!

Clean, deep sounds and sparsely used elements. Fresh chord progressions, too! You've got the craft!

You really have a talent for building a song - which is my favourite thing about electronica - that allows the listener to be led on a journey, not rushed through. I enjoy wandering between the layers into the spaces you leave. Lovely.

Delightful. Beat is excellent. Spell check title. Glitchy little bits work very well, and the dark pad chords underneath really give a great foundation for the guitar parts.

There is a sci-fi story somewhere that belongs to this track. beautifuuly imaginative and very well executed. Now I can't wait for more.

This really draws you in. The guitar is amazing, I love the replies on the plinky synth to the guitar line. Not normally my style but I enjoyed this.

nice - very nice - shades of patrick ohearn

I love the progression throughout the song, and I am genuinely jealous, I wish I could write ambient pieces this good.

Great sound to this track. I've never had the knack for putting together this sort of stuff - I just want to make choruses. I really like the spooky vibe - I can imagine it in the soundtrack to that brilliant film, Drive. The guitar sounds great. Can't wait to hear more. smile

I really enjoyed this one! It's frantic and frenetic but still subdued and delicate. Quite a balance you achieved here, friend!
