i hammered this out when i woke up this morning. however, pittsburgh got 2 feet of snow overnight, so instead of making demos i spent the day slogging through the elements on some errands, and then sledding down the streets (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn9rd9g_jMc) and playing board games with neighbors (who will post their songs sooner or later: http://fawm.org/fawmers/paws/). hence the 17-hour delay...

Ba ba ba ba ba, indeed! i think thats my favorite part of the song! This has a definite psychedelic feel to it... or wait... maybe that was a flashback?

My head is definitely all bobble-head on this one, Burr. Great fun!

really fun! love when you just let the vocals rip at the end. this is quite nice when it's in its rough/unpolished state.

Well, Vermont is kind of far from Pittsburgh but maybe in the summer it would be a nice trip. Like the irony in the line "everything's more than y'know".

What fun! I was bopping along right away. Great jazzy harmonies! And for some reason I really like the line "everything's more than y'know." This is kind of psychedelic-pop – I think the sixties gurus would approve.

That was all sorts of acousticky pop goodness! Absolutely love the hook line of "everything's more than y'know;" sort of a cool double entendre in the use of "y'know"... y'know? Also, handclaps improves everything.

Oooh, the modulation at the 2/3 point is oh-so-sweet and delicious pastry. I totally want a repeat chorus ending though, a sing along so the crowd can dance and sing with their mouths full like chubby little pastry eating Belgian boys.
