Hello, hello! My second go at FAWM. Enjoyed the last one very much! I am from Finland and I'm 30 years old. I play lots of different instruments but none of them very well. I love cigarbox guitars and unique DIY instruments. You will be hearing music from my selfmade cigarboxes in this FAWM for sure! If you like my stuff please visit my bands site and have a listen:

I'm literally gone until about 3 March, may be possible then. I take it the song is your #18? Don't delete it (there's quite a bit of post-FAWM collab that can happen)

  • @famouspatrick  Feb 25

Thanks for the comment on my "Addiction" skirmish song. THAT one hit close to the bone.

  • @famouspatrick  Feb 25

Back from vacation and catching up on thank yous! Thanks for the nice comment on "Equal to the Test." I wish I could sing like Little Richard - been one of my favorites for half a century!

  • @lissielou79 Feb 23

Thank you very much for your comment on, Carefree. Nice one!

  • @freakingsnap Feb 23

    Hi William! 😀
Thank you so much for your lovely comments! I really do appreciate them. It makes it worthwhile when I see that other people like what I have to offer and that I'm not just doing this to please me and my cats! 😁

  • @silentkid  Feb 19

Interestingly enough, i was quite in a happy and relaxed mood when I played this tune, but yes I guess it has an "epilogue" feels to it that could translate this, i guess. Thanks for your listen

  • @nikke88 Feb 19

    Thanks for comments!

I'm waiting for the vocal track in "Shine". It seems to be so catchy that someone else wants to sing it.

  • @konstisifyer  Feb 19

Thank you again for your comment, I will most certainly go and see some of your songs at some point

  • @konstisifyer  Feb 19

Thank you for your kind comment on "Shootyouheresy" 😀 Well, I haven't played that Double Dragon, but I know that this is game-kind-of-music, so I could definitely see this as a game music for old-school games. Oh, and also in here https://soundcloud.com/konsta-vilkman... are rest of my songs (5, so far) in 8-bit.

Sorry for this advertisment...and thank you

  • @timfatchen  Feb 19

ah HA! no-one told me about that DdAD trick with a four=stringer, they're all going on at me about major and minor chords. "On a CBG? whatever for?"sez I.... so now I know what I'll be doing when i make my 4 stringer ( and another 3-string for my daughter). I'm using my rescued and refurbished bass guitar, of course. Yes, now I realise that the cigarbox stakes are so low this year, I must pull a couple more out of the hat. I tend to folk song work when I get serious.

  • @timfatchen  Feb 19

ok, now I have listening time...appears that you and I are the only cigarbox thrashers (though I'm actually gentle and delicate!) on FAWM this year, Peter Murphy hasn't put in an appearance. So that's a mere 4 cigarbox songs from you and only 3 from me and one of those simply uses the cbg as a lead. I don't understand why more non-guitarists and lyricists dont' pick one up, or make one.

  • @famouspatrick  Feb 17

And thanks for the kind words on my "Breakfast" skirmish song. I've never heard of Seasick Steve - I'll check him out after FAWM.

  • @famouspatrick  Feb 17

Thanks for the comments on my "Gondola" skirmish song. I was going for a Jimmy Buffett kind of vibe - Margeritaville-ish.

  • @reggiestyte Feb 16

Thanks for the thoughtful comments & listening to my scenic tunes! I'll stop by again soon.

  • @inger Feb 14

Hi, thank you for your kind comment on my Trees song. I don't know Nightwish, so I will be looking them up 😀

  • @clioem  Feb 14

    Thank you muchly!

  • @unkept Feb 13

Glad you enjoyed "Boredom." 😀 I've been in a bit of a rut these past few days, hope to get back to it again soon...

  • @footprintsonthemoon Feb 12

Thanks for comments on "Sea of Tranquility." Like your visions for it too...

  • @misterd Feb 12

Thanks for your kind comments !

  • @jvallius Feb 12

Kiitos kommentista. Biisi on tosiaan kiero versio Nightwishin Sacrament of Wildernessistä. Holopainen on joskus maininnut fanittaneensa Leeviä, se taisi tulla nyt tätä kautta ilmi, hehe.

  • @famouspatrick  Feb 10

Thanks for the thoughtful comments on my "Veggie Dom" skirmish song. And thanks for listening to so many of my tunes - I am quite flattered.

  • @famouspatrick  Feb 10

Thanks for the comment on my "Roots" skirmish song. You guessed correctly that there is more than a little '60s in this tune. I'm afraid it got hijacked by my alter ego, "Dylan Guthrie," denizen of Greenwich Village in 1962.

  • @famouspatrick  Feb 10

Thank you for your kind words on my "In the Wild" skirmish song. You're correct that there is some awkward phrasing, but that's the type of thing I worry about in the rewrite stage.

  • @mikkojuhani Feb 10

    Thanks for the comment!

  • @clioem  Feb 10

Cool 😀 kids are awesome aren't they? 😁
