Hi TG. Thanks for comments on Sweet jazz Music. Gassarole was a typo, but I guess it worked. 😀
I am seriously behind in my listening. And you are a prolific artist! I will be back to listen.
Thanks for all your weird and wonderful tunes this February! See you at 50/90!
Thanks for your encouraging words, Scott. Much appreciated. See ya at 50/90!
Hello Scott, thanks for commenting on my songs too. I enjoy listening to your songs, as I never know what to expect, and it always interesting. I'll come and say hello on Facebook.
Hi Scott. Thank you so much for you kind comments on Shine. "Sad hopefulness for the future" sounds about right.
And congratulations on your Win...uh, about a week ago now. Ok, I'm late but I did notice. 😀
Thanks for visiting my song "Reflection"!
Thanks for the very generous comment on Golden Archers.
Thank you for all your nice comments on Sweet Jazz Music. I did have a great time bringing it to like and having fun scatting
Many thanks for the listen TCG! That chord you asked about is Ab by the way. I think I learned it from an old Aretha song called "Until You Come Back to Me".
Oh ok, I'll come back then, I can be relied on to keep my word, for a day or two anyway. I just needed to pull back a bit from it, as I just needed a bigger picture of what I was trying to do. I got some songs written, so I have recovered from my need to escape. I see you've been away for a few days too, and come back with a very fine song!
Hello Scott, no song today! hope that's for a good reason. I think I've done everything I can for FAWM this year myself, so I'm going to creep away. i hope you enjoy the rest of it and get some good songs done. I just feel like I don't have a strategic overview of the songs i'm writing, and it doesn't feel like an album. I just need to work out how to create something more coherent. hope you enjoy the rest of FAWM, and thanks for the comments, I've really enjoyed listening to your songs. Bye.
Thanks for joining me in my dingy little jazz club, Seventh Heaven, and for the thoughtful comments. Cheers.
Also, thank you for listening to Winds (sorry for the tardy reply, it's been a busy week for me). To say I'm not influenced by prog epics from the late '60's & early '70's would be an understatement.
See You In The Shadows…
Hey...thanks for listening to mine and Wobbie's collab Tip Of the Iceberg and for your enthusiastic comment. Much appreciated. 😀
Thanks again, Scott!
Jeez, I'm trying to listen to your tunes but my internet is patchy from the snowstorm and they won't load.
I'll be back later. 😞
.......and thank you for your support too, it's also appreciated.
You're welcome. I enjoy listening to your songs!
Thanks for listening to "One on One With Nature" I really appreciate it!
Thanks for listening to my song "Nightmare of a Dream", I appreciate it!
Thanx for the comment on "She May Be Crying". Yeah, I did an Enoesque treatment job on Amanda's piano - my mantra when making music is WWED? ("What would Eno do?")
Thanks TCG! Lyrics don't come easy for me, but that song just spilled out fully formed.
HELLO talented friend! I promise to listen soon, but I have sick kiddos and am getting sick myself, so I'm trying to pump out as much singing as I can and once I fall to it's evil plans, I will go around and listen....Thanks for stopping in, always good to see you!!
Heyy, thanx for the comment on "Sanguma". The Melodica does sound a bit like a violin, you're right. I pitch shifted it down an octave, one of my favourite Melodica tricks.
Yay! TCG is back! Now I am off to do some listening!
Yes, those are strings indeed, with a guitar amp plugin. I like to do that😃
Thanks for your comment!
Have a good one, Scott!
Hello TG. Greetings from Finland. Hope you have a productive and poetic Fawm. By the way, I just found a copy of George Gissings New Grub Street from our library's recycle shelf. Took it home right away because " Hey, Scott likes it!" 😀 . Haven't had the time to read it though but someday soon I will...
Hi Scott, lets do this!
I've girded my loins in preparation for your offbeat poetry and cool guitar
TG!! Listened to your album - what a bunch of weirdness *that* is!
I'm looking forward to hearing whatever you come up with!
