Started piano lessons in preschool & continued with rock, jazz and classical lessons. Flunked classical piano audition at Univ. of Washington, dropped out of school, moved to California to become rock and roll star. LOL. Singer and keyboard player for many years. Loved playing music, hated entertaining/telling jokes & music business in general. Played viola 6 years in chamber group. Retired from work, now can focus on songwriting which I'm still learning about, but really love. Horrible performance anxiety, but no longer need to perform. I'm much better at writing lyrics than music. Recently completed two 5 Songs in 5 Days challenges. New to this group. Looking forward to learning!

Re. recording, I started my basement studio journey three years ago. It's been fascinating and rewarding. The best parts are being able to add tracks/build up a song, and hear how the the song sounds/can be improved. Have fun!
I just saw that you did 5 in 5! Did you do the last challenge in January? Me too! I just posted about finishing this album in that group 😀 That group is how I found out about this challenge!
I think you're failing to realize these songs are like your children. 😉
(What with being unable to write 'song'.)
Thank you for the very kind words!
Thanks for your comments on Colouring. It's an extremely meaningful song to me.
Hi and you're welcome. I notice in the profile that you are in the 5in5. I signed up for it right after the late Jan challenge started. However, I still got the prompts by e-mail and wrote songs to a couple.
Thank you so much for your kind comment on my songs and voice <3
Thanks for commenting. Yes I do meditate
Welcome! I specialize in lo-fi acapella (I call it "crapcapella"). It's like lyrics-only, but the tune is readily available for all to hear. I have seen crapcapella demos get picked up by other musicians and it is always amazing because it's not just my lyrics, it's far closer to the song in my head. Anyway, I hope you have fun!
Welcome to FAWM. I hope your first year is as fun as mine was. I just discovered FAWM last year.
Thanks for the feedback on 'Dinosaur?'. I love how varied your influences are!
Actually my first grey hair I found ended up being the cat's hair🙄🤣. But now I have my own exclusive collection...😜
Thank you for your lovely comment on my skirmish song, Love Coming.
Thanks for the feedback on "Never Saw Me". I am creepy cool! Yay! 😁
Thanks for your kind words! Hope you have a wonderful FAWM! It’s been supportive for me!
Thanks for dropping by and glad you enjoyed my song about the dogs having plans for us. Looking forward to reading some of your lyrics. I like your story. Life is such an interesting ride isn't it? Have fun with us and enjoy the ride.
Thank you so much for your kind comments on Temporary. It encourages me to keep trying new things when people let me know if they enjoyed my music
It's my pleasure.
I got overwhelmed and ran out of time today but I will be back to check out your 0203-A skirmish song!!
