Bio

FAWM #6.

Here’s where I wash the slate clean once again, trying to distance myself, my voice and my fingertips from the previous album. It’s time to create another album without a title- only a date- to sit on the virtual shelf with the other ones: FAWM 2005, FAWM 2008, FAWM 2009, FAWM 2010 and FAWM 2011.

I’m never sure what the month will bring, although I do have a long list of song titles and a few sketches for inspiration. I may self-impose some rules too. For some reason I keep thinking in terms of double albums. Maybe it’s because 14 songs already seems insane to me, without having to add an extra ½ song to it. So this could be a sprawling mess. Double albums sometimes are.

Looking forward to another FAWM and the community that goes with it. If you’re up for a collaboration we should talk.

A lot of familiar names in the influences, but some new to me, too. Never heard of e.g. Joe Pernice, Lou Barlow or Vic Chesnett. Maybe you'll be introducing me to them through your tracks!
