BTW, I joined the UK Songwriter forum. Looks like an active place that's low-pressure. I need to write throughout the year, and maybe the competitions there will urge me on. Thanks for the tip. I'll be scottl there.

  • @scottlake Mar 15

Tina, no need to thank me for my commenting on your songs - you and your songs are one of the reasons I come back to FAWM every year - I can be guaranteed a good giggle and laugh either from your lyrics and hook-infested lines, or just the zany guitar antics. It is a gift to the rest of us in FAWM. Honestly, I don't know if there's anyone who makes me smile more consistently than you and your songs. So, a fave vocalist - absolutely, no question. I would put you on a fave guitarist list as well, and fave lyricist.

  • @adforperu  Mar 5

Hey don't you worry... I'm around for a bit yet, and will listen to your last few in time.. don't feel you have to return the favour or even read my comments, I enjoy listening regardless!

  • @nancyrost  Mar 4

I did indeed intend that Ghostbusters reference. Thanks for catching that!

  • @neilconnor Mar 4

tina that converter it works really well. Thanks a lot
    πŸ˜€ neil

No, I'm not moving someplace weird - I'm moving in with my fiance about 15 minutes from where I am now. Leaving 100 acres of forest for a yard of just over an acre in size, so no more frolicking in the woods for me. I wonder how it will affect my songwriting?

  • @fuzzy  Mar 1

Hey Tina! I always enjoy hearing your savagely funny tunes! Looking forward to hearing more at 50/90!

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Mar 1

Thanks so much for all your help and support...I don't think I could have done FAWM without you x

  • @neilconnor Feb 25

Tina, thanks i took the route of least resistance, working with lyricists and demoing live, anyway its a challenge not a competition, apart perhaps with oneself.. One more to go and 4 days you'll do it easy πŸ˜€ Neil

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 25

Hi Tina...nearly there...you're a busy girl! I've been working on the music for another three songs while my voice gets back to normal...hoping to get a couple done today πŸ˜€

  • @fuzzy  Feb 25

Thanx for all your comments, and more importantly, for all your great music!

  • @leepat  Feb 24

Hi Tina, thanks for your complinents on Wrap up. I appreciate! And I'll take your word for the practice πŸ˜€) Keep rockin'!

  • @timfatchen  Feb 24

Btw I like your avatar. Verging on a Disney princess, sweet and demure. And the gun and lethal guitar arent visible, either! {I'll return when it's safe, in March.)

  • @timfatchen  Feb 23

Glad to see your numbersw have picked up. Tina : "goodness gracious i can see you Aussies like your women well oiled before you arrive home from work! πŸ˜€" in the 1950s. Um. Pubs and bottle shops shut at 6pm in those days. so between 5 or 5:30 and 6pm was what was called the Six O'Clock Swill, an entirely male phenomenon. So take your pick: the "well-oiled" was in a forlorn hope that the beer-filled machinery could be made to work. Or perhaps a la hemp oil, a medical anaesthetic anesthetic.

  • @crisp1  Feb 23

Thanks for the comment on The Bride Wore Black, Tina. I had more pure silly fun writing that than anything else I've done for FAWM. I wish you were doing collabs. I'd beg you because you're perfect for it.

  • @songsville  Feb 21

Oh Tina you're adorable, thank thank you for the Recommended Songs plug, that's totally made my fawm! (I've never been on that thread before .. milestone ... ) I must have just gone to bed when you posted.

  • @headfirstonly  Feb 20

Haha, I had several other verses in mind: I had thesaurus, porous, chorous, stegosaurus...

  • @hankbanks Feb 19

I appreciate your urge to buy me an e-string and pick! For the rest of FAWM, I'll be using the better guitar I found at my work. I also found my pick (yes, at the time being, I only have one). More importantly, thanks for the comments and telling me I can do better on the search history song. I'll get my act together for the rest of em!

Can't help but hope for a William the Wonder Cat World Tour with theatricals.

  • @zecoop  Feb 18

Update.... Mix has been updated. πŸ˜€

  • @zecoop  Feb 18

Yep... Zombie guitar was already planned to be turned up, but I haven't had time to tweak since I posted it. Glad you enjoyed it! πŸ˜€

  • @faceofeinstein  Feb 18

Thank you for your kind words. To be honest, I write the lyrics rapping them in my head(which doesn't seem so fast), and then struggle to lay down the vocals, while cursing myself the entire time lol

  • @downburst  Feb 17

I get you. I love your stuff too, but how many times can I say "Tina, you're amazing!" (Which you are.)

Thank you for the kind words though--they mean a lot coming from you.

  • @cynthiawolff  Feb 17

Thank you for your recording info...
At this stage of the game, It kinda means nothing to
me, so, may I borrow your husband? or you? or both?
I hopefully will get something sorted by next year...
Even GarageBand on the iPad confuses me. My husband is an artist and doesn't know squat about any of this stuff...what good is he??
have fun and I hope you post more songs...I am one of your biggest fans.xxc

  • @cynthiawolff  Feb 17

How could I not remember you?
I'm back for more ball and chain..cause seriously if I had a cd of your songs I'd be playing them all day long..
I know your busy but how do you record?

  • @cynthiawolff  Feb 17

    Tina I luv U...
this is so very very good

  • @acousticmaddie  Feb 16

Thank you for your comments and compliments./M

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 15

    Thank You πŸ˜€

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 14

Cheers, Tina! I'm enjoying playing a bit more guitar than usual...there's a GarageBand preset called "old school punk" and it's sparked two or three songs off already πŸ˜€ It's just like the old days!

  • @standup  Feb 14

Thanks for checking out "Not going to NYC" I guess in the last verse it was maybe if the narrator ever "feels" at home again? I agree that's a bit vague.

  • @scottlake Feb 13

Hee hee! You must have seen the pants I wore in my 1972 school photo. Flared to about 12" diameter bell bottom, purple white and green vertical stripes. No platform shoes. I was 5 years old after all. Playing in a stripey silver cape would look cool, no denying that!

  • @songsville  Feb 13

Tina, for an axe-swinging grunge rock chick you are awfully polite. Perhaps Marjorie has been a good influence ...

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 12

Hi Tina...thanks! I'm just about keeping my head above water...it's tough, but I'm really enjoying it...lots of lovely people around here for encouragement and inspiration...you, perhaps, most of all πŸ˜€

  • @tsunamidaily Feb 9

hope you are enjoying your FAWM this year! i'm late greeting people, but do hope you are having fun.

  • @sheamiejay  Feb 8

Thanks for the sunshine about my Lou Reed inspired tune. The comment came just in time to save my day!

  • @boyatheart  Feb 8

Thanks for your lovely comments, they mean a lot coming from such an awesome FAWMer! πŸ˜€

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 6

    Yeah...I'm dead πŸ’€ well...he is πŸ˜€ martyrdom beckons...swings and roundabouts!

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 6

    Thanks, Tina...you're too kind πŸ˜€

  • @igg  Feb 6

    Tina....you are a lovely person!

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 4

Aw thanks, Tina! Neil did a great job getting all of those lyrics into a song. I'm looking forward to hearing your latest musical adventure later...I'm heading off to play a gig now...

  • @ferry0123 Feb 3

I didn't mean to scare you, Tina πŸ˜€
    Thanks for your words!

  • @klaus  Feb 3

What am I sayin in my profile picture? I'd better keep you guessing and not destroy the mystery.

    Or maybe I'm just a mouth-breather kind of a guy. πŸ˜€

  • @dragondreams  Feb 3

Glad you enjoyed the cowbell cacophany! πŸ˜€
    Thanks loads for stopping by!

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 3

Hi Tina...do full lyrics count as "songs" for the purpose of completing the 14-song challenge? I write tons of lyrics but struggle to get music down for them all...thanks! Paul

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Feb 2

Thanks for the lovely comments, Tina. One song and I'm exhausted...I'm such a lightweight πŸ˜€

  • @marvsmooth  Feb 1

    Tina! *waves* πŸ˜€

  • @sailingmagpie  Feb 1

Hi Tina. Looking forward to what you come up with this year after not just winning FAWM last year but winning the whole internetβ€Ό

  • @rayboneor  Feb 1

Thanks tina! I actually remembered the song title this morning. I'm curious to see what you've got cooking this year

  • @andygetch  Feb 1

Hi Tina, no need to comment on mine LOL!

  • @neilconnor Feb 1

Hi tina, tis me neil. hope i cant find the time for this intriguing challenge without getting divorced or losing my job!

  • @ferry0123 Jan 31

Nice to see your new picture, as cool as the sound of your songs I have in mind. And to maybe hear your voice as well.

  • @klaus  Jan 31

Hi Tina. Nice to see you. I hope you have time to do those simple songs coz I'd really like to hear them. πŸ˜€

  • @rickamorphis  Jan 31

    Hi there Tina, welcome back!

  • @iveg Jan 30

Glad you're here! I have a feeling your "simple songs" will still be a lot of fun to listen to. Looking forward to hearing them!

  • @scottlake Jan 30

Reading that ^^ makes me sad because I won't be hearing any new zany tinam masterpieces. Here's hoping what is consuming your time is fulfilling.

  • @alboe Jan 30

Hope to hear some great ones from you nevertheless this year.

  • @johnstaples  Jan 30

Hi Tina! Thanks for your nice message! I look forward to your album of simple songs. You are a damn fine musician but I missed your witty lyrics last year! Don't sweat the commenting...just make something funny for us (over here in the USA we need to laugh!)

  • @boyatheart  Jan 30

Well even if you aren't around as much as last year, it'll still be awesome when you are. Have a great FAWM, I'm looking forward to what your sound will be like this year.
I love your avatar by the way!

  • @fuzzy  Jan 30

    Hey, I'm glad you're back! πŸ™‹

  • @toms  Jan 29

    Hey! πŸ˜€

  • @thefuneralcrasher  Jan 29

Hello πŸ˜€ Thank you...I may well need your help! I'll gather my thoughts a bit tomorrow at work and see what I can come up with...I think it might do me good just to whack a few songs out without labouring over them too much. Might even write some as if I was someone else...get out of myself a bit...hmm ✍🏻

  • @igg  Jan 2017

Hi there!!! Great to see you here.....

  • @adforperu  Jan 2017

Hey! Hope we're getting more mmmmeeeeeeeennnnnnnntaaaaaaaaaalllllll guitar solos this year

  • @rayboneor  Jan 2017

Oh...can you send me a copy of that thing we did, whatever the heck it was called? (I'm so drunk the zodiac disowns me, etc.)

  • @rayboneor  Jan 2017

    Howdy, Tina!
