Good to be back. Thanks to craigslist and a nice kid out in Concord, CA, the Egg has been reconnected with a Tascam 424. (This one's a mk III, rather than my profile-picture mk II, and if there's a single soul out there who's curious how the models differ, I'd LOVE to talk about it.) Also we've got an old '60s Seeburg Select-a-Rhythm drum machine

so things could get interesting. If I can only get started. I have ideas for how I want to do this, but what I really need to do is do it.

This year I seem to be having trouble toggling between writing and recording. I know how these songs will go, but I haven't made any demos yet. In the meantime I'll just put up the words, which I know is boring.
