Can our next band be called "My Cassius Clay"?
FYI, more 20-track overproduced monstrosities on the way. Three in the works, I'm taking off 2/27 and 2/28 to finish them,
Thank you so much for your warm comments. Your opinion is very inspiring to me. I'll be back listening to your music. Thank you again.
Today's FAWMcast! Link should be in the forums somewhere.
Give me until next week. This week I'm packing and doing music biz grunt work. Next week is for collabs! Is that cool?
Glad you think so! If I ever get rolling on recording it.. but that's what FAWM is for.
It's really hard to tell, nowadays, vst sounds so close to the real thing (especially when I listen on my laptop)
Thanks for your comment too 😀
Thanks for the listen and the lovely comment. 😀
https://newchristmastunes.bandcamp.co... I'm on about half the songs, singing back ups, playing keys, and my song's called Evergreen. @zecoop is all over a couple songs on there, too.
I usually stay really far away from making political statements even in songs. I prefer metaphors. Say exactly what I mean, clear as day, but cloak it in other-words. So if we wrote one, say, using ice cream flavours as a metaphor and tore apart how lame some of them were at being good to eat, THAT could work.
Oh pleeeeeease don't make me do Christmas. I worked on a collaborative Christmas album for 6 months last year. No more Christmas! I'm applying for a US performance visa right now so I'd like to keep overt online protesting to a minimum. Subversion, however, I can get behind.
Unless it's something like protesting Disney films. I can protest the hell out of those.
Hey there, fishy-fish! Thanks for listening. If you're up for a collab this year I'd love to do one. It's been years since our last.
