Bio

Probably not going to get to 14, but I'll do my best. Hope y'all like what you hear. It'll likely be pretty straightforward pop with a couple acoustic mopey songs to round out the bunch.

Hit me up if you feel like collaborating and best of luck to all of you.

EDIT: Lyrics are coming easy, but music's hard to come by this year. Hopefully I'll get that sorted out soon.

Just saw your comments on Half Past Over You. Thank you so much! I've had that idea floating around in my head for awhile, but was having a hard time making it work. Then all of a sudden it worked! Glad you like it!

I can't whistle either!! I'm sure you don't need to be on a diet though but I shouldn't tell you what to do as I don't let anyone stop me from living to eat!!
  •  downburst 3 months ago
Thanks for you comment on the me-and-groundhog song. You have a nice voice! Are you sure you don't want to give it a try? smile

Yeah, the Persian green line is the one that sold me on the song and sticks in my head. Vickie is a great writer.

I'm sending get-your-groove-back vibes your way! smile Have fun writing!

Woo Hoo! OK, I redid it without the drums as it was a bit lumpen, so here is guitar only at 139bpm and also one with me whistling some melody ideas ... http://www.songsville.org/ttb

Please edit/delete/rehash as you like, the clay is still wet on this ... smile

I think it would be cool just guitar and voice, though happy to add bass or even voice or Backing vocals or if it was a duet ... Or of course you could probably play it much better, it is just:

    V
    Bm7 rifflet G A

    CH
    D B D A x2
    F#m B x2
    F#m A E

    M8
    F#m7 B E A A/Ab

    END
    B C D E

    WHERE
    Bm7 = 757777
    rifflet = Gstring 7 6 Dstring 7 6 Astring 7
    F#m7 = 9 9 11 9 10 9

I had you on my watchlist from last year and was upset that you might not be posting this year. But I just found your song and got so excited!! Great to see you back! big_smile
  •  valeriecox 3 months ago
Thanks for the comment. Jagged Little Pill was constantly in in CD player when it came out.

I think you have more vocal power than you realize. A bit of training, and I bet you'd blow the house down.
  •  songsville 3 months ago
Hey TTB, I made a track for you to sing a melody to -- I used @hammersmith's common drums from last year, so the verse has a reggae lilt but the chorus is pure TTB rocky I think -- I've been shamelessly asking my idols for collabs this year, so I thought a title might be "Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained" ... big_smile it's at http://www.songsville.org/ttb the timing is a little ... ahem ... fluid ... but see what you think!
  •  zecoop 3 months ago
Great... just GREAT. Thanks a lot for upping the ante and actually posting one. I'd better get busy now, eh? I sat down tonight and have ideas for five recorded. I am starting to have some hope. big_smile

    LOL
OK on the half promise smile
  • thesupernalists 3 months ago
I unlocked Nerdfighter Like. I can't sing and play at the same time so I figured I'd sing the lyrics at least and post 'em!

I really loved Bend and Break and Break You (version #2) from last year. I still listen to them from time to time. I think your voice really ties in with the guitar. You were really channeling some good vibes last year! I can only hope to get as good as you!
  •  zecoop 3 months ago

Hey! Are you going to be doing FAWM this year? I really hope so. It wouldn't be FAWM without your amazing music. smile
  •  wyatt 3 months ago
I'd be honored to collab with you.
I'm going to put my first lyric up directly that I'd hear as Rock but could be country or Pop or whatever
  •  rickamorphis 3 months ago
Glad you're back...loved 'Streetlight Song' over the summer.
