this is a nifty little song you have here. The baritone works well and the lyrics tell a story but also leave a but up to the imagination. I like the chorus quite a bit as well. A well done and interesting song.

Some great lines in this, particularly the ones that lead into the chorus. The minor key works well for this kind of folk song, and so does your baritone voice with some echo. Lives up to the post-apocalyptic tag!

Nice chorus! I mean the whole song is nice, but the chorus really shines, coming out of the verses. It's totally hook filled and memorable. The doubled vocals work well and the uke only instrumentation enhances the song. Lyrically very strong also. Nicely done! :)

Yeah, I wouldn't be too worried about the quality of what you come up with in FAWM. It's the song-writing practice that matters. I think there's a kernel of an idea in the lyrics, especially the chorus.

Nice dialogue here, it goes in slightly unexpected places, especially when "begin the rest of our lives" becomes "begin the rest of our lies." What a cynical twist...it's the kind of thing I tend to do in a lyric, just to keep it from being too predictable or sentimental.

although it feels a bit out of focus, i'm not sure if that's good, bad, or meant to be-- the end of a friendship/relationship leaves rough edges, and this reflects that. i like it, but i can see that it could be developed more too-- longer, wider.

I know it's taking a while, but I have worked out what music will be going with the song No Wonder (which you said nice things about). At present I have the bass parts worked out (sort of), and the file on the page is basically just a little of what I have - it will take a while to get to it's finished state (and perhaps a better guitarist than I am as well). @terranoda Off the top of my head I don't know of any tutorials, but google may be able to turn some up. Otherwise I'd just recommend browsing the odd-time tag here, listening to lots of different signatures, and then maybe learning to play some songs in odd times. Otherwise just set a metronome to 7 and start improvising! @frenchcricket It feels like 3 3s and a 4, though I don't really know enough about musical theory. It might technically be 6/8 and 7/8. And yes they totally wussed out haha ;)
