just wanted to say THANK YOU! this was one of the coolest musical things i've had an opportunity to do and i had a blast doing it. Life got a little busy toward the end so unfortunately i didn't finish, but thank you for turning me on to this. I'll be back next year!

  • @markg  Feb 28

Looks like you've been saving it up for the last minute!

  • @nintendeaux  Feb 28

    track flood!

  • @lokimotive Feb 28

DAMNNNNN!!! #14 out and done huh??? Solid dude! Much love mate!

  • @mungus  Feb 17

Thanks for listening man, yeah, I was trying to write something more upbeat to contrast with my usual angsty vibes!

  • @kayaserenity123 Feb 2018

Hey @spiderhound1 ! Stoked to see other dojo member and the I'd for the support and love on my track !

  • @nintendeaux  Feb 2018

@spiderhound1 i'm really glad you picked up on that middle eastern vibe - i have a concept behind each of the tracks i'm doing for FAWM, and it's that i'm looking at a different Salvador Dali painting on my 2nd monitor while i'm producing it and trying to capture whatever it makes me feel. each of the tracks have the same name as the painting i'm looking at.

  • @iwilleatyou Feb 2018

Just checked out Dof by Niceface. I'm willing to bet he uses Ableton Live because I've written songs that are very similar especially with the effects and all sorts of craziness going on. I should probably attempt one for a FAWMtronica track. We'll see. Thanks for the recommendation!

  • @unkept Feb 2018

Glad you enjoyed the drums on "Never Saw Me"! Thanks for listening!

  • @spiderhound1  Feb 2018

@hopelessfull glad you decided to join FAWM. I look forward to hearing your tunes!

  • @postcardhelicopters  Feb 2018

Thanks for visiting my song! You've sussed out one of my favorite ways to write music - adding phrases to a running track and finding out where it leads me to.

  • @hopelessfull Feb 2018

Dojo homies! Super stoked to hear everyone's rapid development. Thank's for posting this up in the group and getting the word out.

  • @darklava Feb 2018

Thanks for the comment! I am only scratching the surface on what this little thing can do.

  • @totallynotaspambot Feb 2018

Be greeted and thanks! I used my serial number to create tonal algorithms which I then converted into midi-input towards a Casio they have here in the DARPA lab! Beep-bup-bup-beep.

  • @hmorg Feb 2018

    Thanks for the comment!

  • @yaedma Feb 2018

Hey Sean! After seeing Dylan post about this challenge on his twitter, and reading the article with the link to your profile I decided to try this challenge and reach out! I'm not strictly part of the dojo (I only joined the private Facebook group after signing up for the breaking through workshop, wish I had the money to take on the class of 808!) so I hope it's ok I reach out anyways! This should be a fun interesting challenge and probably the biggest one I've ever taken on! 😀

  • @spiderhound1  Feb 2018

@dumpbutton I am so psyched to see you here. Happy FAWMing my friend!

  • @dumpbutton Feb 2018

Hey Sean, You are one of the first people who inspired me to join the Producer Dojo and study with Dylan! Thanks for that 😉. I decided to do FAWM after reading your post of the Dojo FB page today. I love producing (mostly under the moniker - wavema) but miss the live and improvised aspect of playing drums in a band. I recently realized after watching an Eoto show on YouTube that I wanted to strive to create Live and Improvised electronic music. I will be using FAWM 2018 and this new project as an opportunity to create a live Album made solely by improvisation and live looping in Ableton Live.

Spiderhound, its a very beachy very summery track. Upbeat, dancey, happy and catchy as all hell. I just can get that summer sound I want and I’ve been beating my face in for 5 months now trying to pin it down!

Hit me on my NuJ4X Facebook messenger, I’ll send you the lyrics and a vocal demo of you’re down

  • @spiderhound1  Feb 2018

@nuj4x why don’t we give it a try? What is the theme of your lyrics? Not sure if your subject matter is happy, sad, etc...?

  • @nuj4x Jan 2018

Spiderhound, I was sitting and thinking and wondering if you'd do a collab with me. I have an AMAZING idea for a song, but I can't pin down the beat. I was hoping maybe you'd collab with me on it, you make the beat, I have the lyrics and the song idea and we get a singer to sing it and split it 50/50. If this interests you, holler at me please. Thank you for your consideration.

  • @spiderhound1  Jan 2018

@cnidaria I'd love to Collab! sounds like a win/win situation to me.

  • @cnidaria  Jan 2018

Hey there. I was poking around the forums and found your profile. I don't have much rap experience, but I've always thought my lyric style had kind of a ramble-y, rap-like flow to it. I would be very much interested in doing a collaboration this year if you're down for it.

  • @michaelepic Jan 2018

Hell yeah man, that sounds amazing! I'd love to spit fire on a rap track you make! I'll bring something extra fresh, ask around haha I can be quite the wordsmith 😁

  • @spiderhound1  Jan 2018

@nuj4x that’s so cool that you are a fellow member of the Dojo. That’s awesome! I look forward to hearing your tunes. PEACE!

  • @nuj4x Jan 2018

Thanks for watchlisting me man! I'm part of the Producer Dojo! 😁
