YOU DID IT. I am so glad you won. In spite of being a full-time student. If you want to get together ever, my email is on my page. Aloha. And keep writing! marlene

    Wow, my vocals suck. *LAUGH*

I have finished the instrumental though... good grief... I have no idea how to pronounce this thing.

    Email me please big_smile errol@elumir.com
  •  errol 2 months ago
I will sing, but I was envisioning 18 japanese girls singing and thought that would sound way cooler. *LAUGH*
  •  errol 2 months ago
Oh, could you send me an mp3 of you saying everything? That would be awesome...

Did you want to sing it, or shall I?
  •  errol 2 months ago
BTW, I AM working on the song. Man, this is hard. big_smile
  •  errol 3 months ago

Hey, Sophie. just wanted to invite you to come to our Battle of the Bands at Hard Rock Cafe Waikiki this Sat nite (18th). My daughter's and my duo, Nightbloom, got 3rd in the online voting, so now do this show, to see if we go to the next round. The battle starts at 10 pm and we play a little after 11. you can park at the post office behind it on Saratoga for $5. All will be playing originals only..so you might really like it.
  •  errol 3 months ago
I can't either. It's stuck in there. Was there when I woke up.
  •  errol 3 months ago
Ya.... I can't help myself with japanese names. THEY'RE SO COOL! big_smile
  •  errol 3 months ago
Ya... sorry... about my complete lack of ... usefulness in my video comment.

But seriously... the title is sooooo fun....
  •  leslie 3 months ago
Thanks for the koto lesson! My harp has 26 strings and it's tuned like the white keys on a piano, so C D E F G A B C. Each string has a sharping lever, so you can change your key signature appropriately, and seasoned players can do it mid-song. That's not me, yet. I only started playing in November. smile In my experience, if you can play the piano and are familiar with the act of plucking strings, you can sit down and immediately play the harp. It's quite intuitive.
  •  errol 3 months ago
BTW, that's a cool instrument in Yuki no Uta. I will comment. I will. big_smile
  •  errol 3 months ago
No worries! big_smile Oooh, is our song about sushi?

    I like salmon rolls. Mmmmmm....
  •  anonymouse 3 months ago
oh no, i was mistaken; have heard you sing before
  •  errol 3 months ago
Huzzah! big_smile You'd have to write the japanese part, unless you know people fluent in japanese, then that would make life easier. big_smile
  •  errol 3 months ago
Do you speak JAPANESE!? I am all for doing songs in different language (last year I did German ones)

If you would do a japanese duet with me, that'd be all sorts of awesome! big_smile
  •  caterwauler 3 months ago
Thanks for your kind comment. Don't worry about finding better words, I'm so bad at this I don't even write lyrics smile
  • wuola 3 months ago
So when will you introduce the koto? smile
  •  oddbod 3 months ago
That is indeed the ratchet wheel wheel and shutter but sadly not of an Instamatic but an old plastic Diana camera.
  •  errol 3 months ago
Alllooo! big_smile Yes... I did say I would. It's on in an hour. big_smile
  •  errol 3 months ago

  •  burrsettles 4 months ago
Yup, rats. We just adopted two boys named Stig and Tove, who are champagne and blue-beige w/a white belly. We just got them a week ago, so we're still getting to know them (the last of our clan of girls passed on in December).

Welcome to your fourth (?) FAWM!
