Bio

I'm Skip from Perth, Western Australia. This is my second FAWM. I think I got 5 or 6 songs last year so gotta beat that. Also failed miserably at 5090 so I'm hoping the shorter format of FAWM is better for me.

I've played guitar forever been singing for about 4 years now and writing songs seriously for the same time. I don't have a lot of stuff at hand as I've been travelling the world for the past 4 years.

Instruments available: (A lot less than last year)
Acoustic Guitar
Harmonica
Microphone
Pastel Pink kiddy Ukulele
I think I have a shakey egg somewhere, but the salt shaker will work too.
Possible access to piano and didgeridoos.

Wish I had more to get inspired but I will do my best. Looking forward to the challenge, not so fussed about 'Winning' just looking to improve my productivity.

I'm also heading back to Europe in March for a tour with my mates so hoping to have some fresh new songs to play whilst out on the road and hopefully keep the creativity flowing whilst I'm there.

Happy FAWMing smile

thank you for your comment, i was going for afrobeat but latin drums kind of detract from that.

Thanks so much for the comment on my Fluttershy song! I really like using a lot of stuff to make songs like that.

I actually do not currently own a Tele. I have wanted a '69 Thinline Tele since college, but never actually purchased it because I went to medical school instead. I mainly play a custom built guitar, but have a Squier Strat as well.

Thanks for your comment on I Wonder. I'm actually a robot. True Story.
Actually I eliminated the vocoder in favor of a different effect. (A vocoder basically turns your voice into a MIDI instrument.)

There's no wrong way to play a plastic bag. smile I usually hold it in my hands and shuffle/clap, but you could hit it with a stick, play it in front of a box fan, um... put stuff inside and shake it... the possibilities are endless! big_smile Thanks for the feedback!
