Bio

Even though I’ve never been able to finish FAWM or 50/90 (yet), every time I give them ago I always end up with a least a few songs that make it all worthwhile. Also I love the feeling of community on here. People are so wonderfully supportive of each other.

I’m around halfway through writing a double album of psychedelic/noise/ambient stuff, so that’s the way I expect at least some of my FAWM efforts to go. There might be a some singer-songwriter type stuff too, but that’s not really my focus. Whatever happens is fine, though. I tend to write a lot of my better stuff pretty quickly with little planning beforehand. I just want to make some music.

My albums:

Conchology (Ferensway, 2009)
Songs Without Words (NSI, 2010)
The Day the Signal Died (Ferensway, 2011)
Industrial Skyline (aReW Recordings, 2011)

Well somehow I have made it to the 14.. Thanks to Jessica...

I will now work on the half music when I finally go back to work tomorrow while on the train. in and back. Should hopefully sneak it in in time for closing of FAWM 2012... repetition...broom broom broom broom.... repetition...broom broom broom broom...repetition...lol

Thanks for all the comments Si. I have really enjoyed myself this year with FAWM. I didn't put any pressure on myself and have just had fun mostly... I have also enjoyed trying new things sound wise.

I have been really quite ill since the latest in my Dental Extractions on Saturday. I couldn't even bring myself into my first day back to work today after a week off. I seriously doubt I will get to 14.5 this year now sadly.. However I do have 2 tracks that I did while I woke up for 10 minutes yesterday which are just beat and shit so I will hopefully be able to put something over them to get to 13 and then maybe I will break out a 2012 version of repetition...lol

I know what you mean about writing for the sake of it but that pretty much is my plan for this years FAWM. Hopefully I will continue to write some goodish shit but its unlikely...I don't care if its all not so good...its just fun to take my mind off all the shit life brings for a while.

    oh...ha ha ha....
What do you mean I always wash myself with soup!!!?!!!
  • shutyatrap 3 months ago
