Jessica, it's very nice in Iceland, cold though. Instead of kangaroos stealing our washing we have to worry about penguins and polar bears. (just joking) I've actually been to Sydney nearly a dozen times over the last 30 years, very nice place. Is it Enfield? Enomre? "I'm trying to remember the name" that has that cool old theater. I remember enjoying sitting outside eating my lunch in some restaurants behind the University in perfect weather, too, near that park where all the bats are.

Thanks for the comment on Lost In the City. I've wanted to do a song like (relentless motorik beat, hypnotic drony guitars) for absolutely ages. I'm going to do another version and maybe make it longer. I really love playing it.

Oh, and I hope you do indeed do a version of Repitition. Funny, I was thinking about that the other day.

Thanks for the kind words, Steven. I like the cave but I think because it's so dark, sometimes it skews my writing in that direction. I am passionate about living a creative life in one way or another. I feel like life is more full that way. I look forward to listening to some more!

Actually since I said that I've totally written 2 songs that are songs for the sake of the songs. 14 good songs in a month is too much for me. I guess if I manage to get 3 or 4 keepers it will have been worth it. And you've already written some good stuff.

Thanks mate. I'm enjoying it, actually - plus I've only done one song so far that I think is a piece of crap. I want to write stuff, but not just for the sake of writing stuff, otherwise it just seems like a waste of time.

In the typed lyrics to 'Mean' you have the line: "soup can not wash me clean". Was that deliberate?? You'll never cleanse yourself in a bath of minestrone, you know!
