Hello FAWM2012.
I've been writing lyrics/songs/poetry for about 18 years. Unfortunately, finishing pieces I start has always been hard for me (maybe it's the ADD) but I'm getting a little better with practice. Submitting whole songs to FAWM is a real challenge. I have experimented with some recording over the last year, so I'll likely post some rough takes this year. Hold on to your hats!

Most of the time my musical energies are directed into performing other people's music, but I'd like to figure out how to use the material I generate. I'm getting better at integrating my singing and my songwriting, but it's a process to synthesize in a pleasing way.

One of the songs I collaborated on last FAWM is on FAWMpilation 2010! Look for "Gravity" with my very talented associates (and friends) Hannah Busse, Brian Smith and Sarah Wynia Smith.

I look forward to more fun this year and am open to feedback and input . . .
